I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay at Hennops Pride Lifestyle Resort, which was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Our official check-in time was 14:00, however we arrived slightly earlier at 13:30. Upon arrival, we discovered that our chalets were not cleaned or ready. We were informed that there were only three cleaners for the entire property, which resulted in a severe delay. We waited approximately four hours for our chalets to be cleaned, and they were handled by only one cleaner, which is unreasonable for a resort of this size. In addition to the delay, the chalets had a strong, unpleasant smell. The bedding and towels were also smelly, indicating poor hygiene standards. The interior was very dark, and several facilities were faulty: Bathroom lights were not working Toilets were not flushing The gate to our unit was not working This experience caused major inconvenience and discomfort and did not meet even basic hospitality standards. We expected a clean, functional, and welcoming environment, which was not provided. I am extremely unhappy with the service and condition of the accommodation and believe this matter warrants serious attention and corrective action. I look forward to feedback and a resolution from management.

We booked a 4 Sleeper Chalet - Fully equipped with everything you need. Very neat and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wild animals roaming around were definitely a highlight for us. Sparkling pools. Hennops Pride Resort is truly a GEM. Thanks to Elize and team. we had an amazing time.

We went to Hennops Pride Resort for my moms birthday on Saturday 25/11 - booked a lapa and everything was fantastic, however I do have a few suggestions that should be looked into. The poor life guards - they need alot more assistance with getting people of our the pool after sliding down as they don't listen, in addition to the gathering at the pool once they come out. I makes it difficult for parents to keep an eye on our young ones splashing away. The parking - there needs to be some sort of influx control at the parking area. Some people don't know how to part to a point where my sister was parked in - literally boxed in. There should be at least 2 - 3 car guards, or offer R10 for parking at the resort. The day visitors - this should be controlled as the place becomes too full. Tickets should be purchased online and there should only be a limited amount just like Pines Resort does. Your rules - no glass bottles and no music however, I found that there were alot of people who brought in bottles. What if something broke and a child stood on the glass? There was at the lapa right next to us, music played too. Rules cannot only apply to some visitors whether they are day visitors or visitors who booked a chalet for the weekend. Tuck Shop - This was absolutely not nice. If I want an ice cream, I'd like to see what options there are - pictures are better than just writing it down on cardboard for display. Consider revamping and allowing access into the shop itself. It also needs to be a little bit more well lit. Ablution facilities - these toilets are disgusting - no toilet paper, doors don't close and visitors don't know how to flush a chain. Disgusting!! Reception area - This needs more direction - very poorly lit, everyone standing around in 1 que only to be told they can go to another person to assist if they've made a booking. Considering the price we pay as day visitors, the expectation is that this place would be a little bit more organised in a all areas, lit well and be more accommodating to everyone. Other that the above, a beautiful place to visit with the animals walking around and the slides and jungle gyms for the kids. There just needs to be some sort of order. I would consider visiting again and telling people of this place in the near future once issues are sorted out. Note that your website also doesn't work when we want to make an online booking.

The most despicable service and and utter disappointing and rude experience I have ever encountered. Firstly When we arrived, our pre payments could not be placed even though we booked from June and payed , we were notified of an incorrect amount outstanding. Secondly, We were promised three 10 sleepers, and were only given one with the excuse that the other two 10 sleepers are not available and the rest would have to be split into 6 and 4 sleepers. Before the holiday even started, already inconvenienced and dissapponted, to which we accommodated. Big mistake because they thought they can take further advantage. The entire house of the 10 sleepers is full of water of one person trying to take a shower, and according to the maintenance guy, The owner knew of this and tried to repair it to no success ,but still let the place be paid for and inhabited. Furthemore, a small fridge of 220 litres and a two plate stove for a family of 10 was only provided , no TV, no electricity in only a few of the places that are older (units 1-6)but the rest of the units do have electricity when loadshedding hits, a fire pit and fire place with no covering so no fire can be made in the rain and an afdak that is there for nothing as the rain falls right through onto the stoep and chairs. A gate and sliding door doesn't work. There is no wifi that reaches here or that functions when the power is off in the rest of the place. The reallocated chalets have four plate gas stoves and tvs , neither that work . Had to first overcomplain to the maintenance guy before they decided they could call the owner and when she arrived and we started raising the flooding of the place concern , her response "WE WILL REFUND YOUR MONIES AND YOULL CAN THEN FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY". At this time of the year, where the hell does one find a place???? Only after telling her that she is very rude and out of the way, was her solution to bring is more towels and mop where the water has messed. Only after bringing two extra towels, were we told that they will bring an appropriately sized fridge and get the maintenance guy To come tomorrow morning and that we must please not shower and only bath even after being informed my pregnant wife to which this could pose a risk , to which we were asked another 7 times to just take a bath and buck up to all the other problems. Utterly appaled at the attitude, service and common decency of this place and its owner. Would never come to stay over here again and would advise the same to anyone thinking of doing so!!!!

No guards patrolling the area to make sure guests are safe and adhering to rules. My neighbors played loud rambunctious music until 4 or 5 am both nights that I stayed over and nothing was done about it. I definitely will not be returning here. Worst resort i have stayed at before.
