This company arrived at my premises and replaced power meter that was working exceptionally well under the instructions of CITYPOWER. There was no Operating Manual and little knowledge by the representatives on how to use the meter. 4 (FOUR) requests for an Operating Manual from both this company and CityPower ignored. I do NOT have pre-paid, am on postpaid so "Pre-Paid" questionable website instructions are deemed useless. Does this company exist or is it another cloud company set up to supply cheap equipment yet again.

Poor customer support. User manual has a number which they claim is a 24/7 service desk but no one answers when you call the the number. The user manual offers no instructions on fixing faults.

Worst mistake having this hexing prepaid meter installed. Does not recharge in the main house and contract installers were too busy being arrogant instead of understanding that charging a prepaid meter in the cottage garage instead of the main house does not make sense. We were advised that it’s because we have solar - however our cottage has no power and that means we cannot recharge the device. Contractors chasing installations instead of actually troubleshooting was the first red flag 🚩. City power contractors rush to the next installation and when you tell them that yours is an issue after waiting 6 months to have it installed, you’re told that they can remove it and no one else will come and install it. How is that customer service??? The first device was faulty. The second device worked however the keypad was faulty. Installers know how to install and nothing else. How do contractors manage to get appointed without the necessary skills??? Not knowing how to troubleshoot then results in a supervisor being contacted and the response is “if they don’t want it then remove it!”

Sadly, I do not get to choose my pre-paid electricity meters. Goodness knows how the municipalities select the suppliers. On 29 March, I sent an email to the address given on Hexing’s website. My request was simple: “Could you please email me a manual for your Hexing CIU EV500 energy meter? I could not find one on your web site. One of your meters was recently installed at my place but I did not receive a manual.” To this day, I am still waiting for a response. Does this company exist?

This new box is just a **** and money draining. We use to bought R400 electricity on the old box and it would last a whole month. For this month only with this Hexing meter box we have bought R1200 electricity. This is a **** or this boc is faulty.. But it doesn't make sense to go from R400 a month to R1200. We are only 4 people living here we dont even have a geyser or appliances that I believe will consume soooooo much electricity...

Since this box was installed I can't load electricity on it and when you call their customer service they don't answer. One can just imagine how worse it will become when the whole of SA is having these installed we really need to alert other people not to allow these people to install these boxes in their homes until they can sort out the issues we are currently experiencing😡😡
