I purchased 3 x hokahalf running tickets. I added a pair of socks assuming it was free but saw that I was charged for it at checkout. I could not reverse the payment. My race pack was collected and I noticed my socks was never given to me. After the race I asked a few people for a merchandise stands or help, nobody cold help. I have emailed Hoa, entry Ninja, sent them messages on Social media and they simply ignore me. Nobody has reached out. They told me to email their info email, yet I sent a few emails and nobody has responded. I just want my refund.

I purchased a pair of Hoka Mach X running shoes from Sportsmans Warehouse Rondebosch (Cape Town), and after only two short runs, the shoes caused severe blisters and bleeding on my heels. I contacted Hoka South Africa (iKhambi Distribution) to report the issue and request assistance. Instead of any accountability or meaningful support, I was told the blisters were likely caused by “improper lacing” or “sock material” — without them ever assessing the shoes in person. Even after repeatedly asking for escalation, they refused to offer a refund or replacement, and insisted that I courier the shoes to from Pretoria to Cape Town at my own cost if no fault is found — which is completely unreasonable for a product that injured me after ONE normal use. This is unacceptable service from a premium global brand like Hoka, and it reflects poorly on how their South African distributor treats customers. My next step is to lodge a formal complaint with the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (CGSO) and informed Hoka Global. At this point, I’m left with a pair of expensive shoes that I cannot wear, cannot sell, and a clear sense that the distributor is unwilling to stand behind their product or the Hoka brand promise. Buyers beware — if anything goes wrong, you may be left with no real support.

Had a major problem with a pair of hiking boots i bought. Returned them . They really hurt my feet on the first day of hiking with the inner sock forming creases. Just got answer back stating it should improve with use and i should look at how i tie my laces. I have spend many km hiking and i really know how to do that . Not happy at all . As a keen hiker stay away from this brand

I was ****med by a website that falsely claimed to be offering a HOKA clearance sale: https://hokaflashsale.shop. The site looked professional and advertised huge discounts. I placed an order on March 22, 2025, for two pairs of HOKA shoes totaling $62.48. I received an order confirmation email but have not received any shipping updates or products. The email looked legitimate, but after doing research, I realized this was a **** site impersonating the real HOKA brand. There is no way to contact the seller or track the order, and the payment was processed under a suspicious name. I’ve since reported the site and contacted my bank. I’m posting this to warn others not to fall for this ****. If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Bad customer service, untrained staff, unwillingness to help. They do not read their emails correctly. Customer service is a copy and paste response. Do not take ownership of defective products. They make it your problem to sort the issues out with their product. They prefer to do as little effort as possible. Their standards on quality have completely dropped.

On 23.10.2023 I bought a hoka torrent 3 trail running shoe on the Bash online App, Totalsports TFG. 28 June I noticed the rubber soles are chipped and one piece of rubber sole is actually flapping and near to breaking off. I contacted TFG customer service teams via email and was advised to contact the Bash team via email - Bash email team rep**** advising I need to go to my nearest Totalsports store and someone needs to assess the shoe, I went to Totalsports Canal Walk - spoke to Duwayne Head of footwear in store, he assessed the shoe and confirmed that the rubber is poorly made however I do have the shoe longer than 6months and I do not have the box so his unable to credit me or change the shoe and advised I need to contact hoka directly as its withing 12 months and the soles are breaking. After searching for hoka directly i mistakenly contact hoka uk via email they assist with worldwide customer. I was the. advised to contact Hoka south africa. Back to google I went and found Ikhambi Distribution which is responsible for Hoka One One in South Africa. After many back and forth emails Claudia Freese she then sent me a link to raise my query to their online team. I provided the lengthy explanation again attached photos or the shoe sole and proof of payment invoice from the online Bash app. After all proof provided I only had the shoe 8months I was then advised by Sibusiso that this is normal wear and tear. I find this absolutely appalling and ridiculous. They then sent me a 25% discount coupon and a link to their website to buy another Hoka. The shoe was assessed at Totalsport confirmation received that the shoe sole is faulty due to poorly made rubber soles then only to be told this is normal wear and tear this is absolutely unacceptable. I have used many brands for trail running and never did any sole break within 12months and normally the soles get smooth but never chip and break.

I did less than 300 kms on Hoka Arahi 7 for men which I bought from Sportsman Warehouse. I went to the store and enquired about the quality of the shoe and they referred me to Ikhambi Distribution. This one's just responded to my enquiry and said it's normal Hoka wear and tear. I am still in shock that Hoka running shoe can just acknowledge that their running shoes are of such a poor workmanship and quality. Am looking for new quality running shoes somewhere else.

This online shop is possibly a *****ulent shop. I ordered Hoka shoes in Jan 24 and to date have not received any delivery of these. When trying to contact their service department, you get absolutely no response to the online form you complete nor the emails sent. ABSOLUTELY ABOMINABLE!!
