In one month I was given three times the wrong receipt. The staff enter items on your receipt that is not in your basket. The last item was Paprika for R147. Please customer check your receipt. 3 Times is not by accident. This shop and its staff do not deserve our loyalty!

Today I went to housewives market, Clair wood. Shopping was a normal experience as I'm a regular client. Regular in such a way that I was there yesterday, Sunday the 19th of September 2021. And I went there on Monday, the 20th of September. I was treated so badly that I couldn't even complain. The cashier on the last till on the extreme right towards the northern entrance didn't want to help me and sent me to the second till. I'm not sure maybe I had too many items on my trolley. I'm buying vegetables in preparation for my late sister's tombstone unveiling that is taking place on the 25th of September 2021. The cashier on the second till mumbled something and chased me back to the last till on the extreme right. After that experience, she served me as if she wasn't happy. I didn't spend much. It came to around R500. 00. As if that was all, when the security checked my till slip, he went back to the cashier. After their conversation, I was made to pay additional amount because I bought 3 onion bags that were underpriced. Marked at R26. 99. I assumed they are on special and tool 3 bags. It's not my mistake that they were wrongly marked. This is very bad experience, and is not acceptable as we are clients and have a long history with our support for this shop. Some retail shops will apologies and offer the product for free, if it can be proved that they marked it wrongly.

The family always enjoy shopping at Housewives Market because of the affordable prices of all their products including the fresh produce. They have weekly specials as well, which means you make even bigger savings on regular items, which is a bonus. They also provide a great variety of items from a number of brands and this is complimented with a enjoyable shopping experience.

We produce Aquaponic Lettuce, when approaching the Housewives Market in Lyttelton to show our produce to them I was met with major disrespect. Firstly slamming the glass door in my face. Thinking tht he is busy or a call I waited. He left the glass office and walked around the store and eventually asking me if he could help. Explaining that we produce lettuce he said that I should speak to someone else and waved his hand in a direction. As I turned to walk to where he directed me he said he has no time for salesmen, answering him I said I'm a farmer and he replied even worse. I asked him where he thinks all his produce is grown and he told me to get out of his shop. Unbeleivable that this is the attitude of a fresh produce market towards Farmers on which his livelyhood certanly depends

It was on the 16 February 2016 when I bought vegetables at Housewives market then I paid with my card and the cashier billed the butternut twice by a mistake then I asked to be refunded. They said it will not be easy by cash it has to be reversed back to my account so I paid cash by cash and card following their instruction. They said my money will be reversed within 24hrs which didn't happened till now. After that I went to them about twice still I haven't been paid till today and they don't make any follow up to check whether I got my money or not. I phoned the manager Sonjay on 0315692512 the other day and he continue with empty promises that my money will be paid. They got my bank details and my phone number I still got the cash slip with me as a proof that I paid twice for the vegetables. I want to be refunded my R334.94 as I ended up paying twice.

HI
I'M REALLY REALLY DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED AT CLAIRWOOD HOUSEWIVES MARKET BEHAVIOR AND ATTITUDE. I SENT OUR BOY TO PURCHASE A BOTTLE OF GRAPE VINEGAR AND HE MISTAKENLY BUYS WINE VINEGAR.WE AS MUSLIMS DON'T CONSUME WINE SO I IMMEDIATELY SENT HIM BACK TO EXCHANGE IT, TO WHICH THEY SAID THE STORE POLICY IS ONCE AN ITEM LEAVES THE SHOP IT CANNOT BE RETURNED.HOW DISGUSTING IS THIS????I SENT IT BACK IMMEDIATELY WITH THE RECEIPT AND THE ITEM IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING TO WHICH THEY REFUSED. I ADVICE ONE AND ALL TO BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY FROM THIS STORE, OR RATHER BUY FROM ANOTHER STORE WHICH WILL HONOUR AND RESPECT CUSTOMERS......V V V DISAPPOINTED
