I took my vehicle in for service on the 4th of February 2026 and when I went to fetch my car in the afternoon I saw that the oil was still a black colour and asked for the service manager to take a look. She understood my point that I have paid a lot for the oil change and the oil still looks like the same old dirty oil. She then advised she will order a bottle of oil and will call me in to come for another oil change. I called a week later to follow up and she assured me that she will get back to me soon, that my job card is on her desk and she has not forgotten. It has now been a month since my service and I have not heard back from her and cannot get ahold of her. I called on the 3rd March 2026 and another lady said she would call me back in 5 minutes and I never received a call back. And now I try calling and when I am put through the phone just rings and no one answers. I am frustrated and very unhappy with the service I have received. I expected better and would like a response ASAP! I feel like I am being taken advantage off because I have been so polite and understanding and I have created a scene.

Good Day, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the poor service I have received from Hyundai Fourways, which has been ongoing since the purchase of my vehicle. I recently took my vehicle to Hyundai Fourways for a battery check. During this visit, it was confirmed that the battery fitted to my vehicle at the time of purchase is not the correct battery for the car. Despite this being identified under warranty, the dealership refused to replace the battery and instead advised that they would “investigate where the car came from before it got to them.” As a customer, this response is unacceptable. I am currently expected to continue driving a vehicle with a damaged and incorrect battery while the dealership conducts its internal investigation. This places me at risk and is unfair, particularly given that this issue falls under warranty. The correct course of action should have been to replace the battery immediately and conduct any investigations internally thereafter. Unfortunately, this is not the first negative experience I have had with Hyundai Fourways. At the time of purchasing my vehicle, I was promised a cashback of R15,000. However, I only received R5,000. I raised this matter with the dealership, but once the sale was concluded, my concerns were dismissed and no effort was made to resolve the discrepancy. Due to these repeated issues, I have lost confidence in Hyundai Fourways. The service I have received has been disappointing, unprofessional, and unfair. I would also like to note that a similar poor experience has been encountered by my sister at the same dealership, which suggests a broader pattern of service failure . I am requesting that this matter be taken seriously and that urgent action be taken to: Replace the incorrect battery under warranty without further delay. Investigate the cashback discrepancy and provide a clear resolution. Address the overall service standards at Hyundai Fourways. I bought a used vehicle from Hyundai Fourways in June that was advertised as having a full service history. It is now nearly 7 months later and I still have not received one s**** of paper to back that up. No service book ("it was lost"), no effort to find any evidence of a service, and no feedback. Even Riaan Helberg, the dealer principle is now refusing to take my calls. TK (the sales rep), and Khanya (one of the sales managers), as well as Riaan keep making promises and never call you back when they say they will. BE WARNED!!! DO NOT BUY HERE!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!

Hyundai fourways they are useless and ***********. I booked my car yesterday for service and I told them the issue with my car and today im getting calls from technician asking me the same thing over and over. I then called the lady I spoke to yesterday she transfered my call to her manager. The manger was not helpful.

I bought a Toyota rumion 2022 1.5 sx from Hyundai Fourways in February 2025, trusting they’d deliver a quality pre-owned vehicle. *Big mistake*. *The Problems Started Immediately*: - *Month 1:* Brake pads failed. Had to fight sales (Mandla & Gaugelo) to replace them – they only agreed after I insisted. Paid upfront, installed by an independent mechanic. - *Month 8:* Gearbox mount cracked. We replaced it with a *new second-hand gearbox (R7,000 from Toyota, properly sealed)* – far superior to the faulty original unit sold with the vehicle. On the 29th/09/25, I took my car to service at 85376, Job card 19974. They did not check everything and I had issues with the car days later when I drove the car, as I work from home. The engine light came on and I contacted them. They told me to bring back the car, I did and they kept it for 2 days. They told me spark plugs have erosion, even after I have told them I do not wash the engine, my chat is why did they not notice this on the 1st service? They did a horrible job and they put my life in danger. Now they claim spark plugs are not covered and I need to pay to replace them. However, on the warranty book spark plugs are included and says it should be replaced at specific intervals and does not say anything about paying. So I am taken for a fool. I was also advised I will be called a few days after I fetched my car because they had claimed something that was under warranty and it will be replaced. I am driving up and down a car that might breakdown due to incompetence of the technicians there. The replacement of the spark plugs is on 8.2.

The most horrific service I have received, this 1 star is too generous. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and there was communication that all 2019/2020 models specifically i20 have issues with the paint and individuals are advised to go to dealership/s to get this fixed. This process was initiated in February 2025, the warranty lady Samantha said I should bring in my vehicle in March. Only for them to NOT do any work but take pictures of the chipping paint. Months went by and I kept following up, and she’d give me excuses “there’s still 4 cars, it’s first come first serve” , they’d not take calls and so forth until the end of June when I escalated to Head office and indicated that I will not be communicating any further we taking the legal route, 3 days later she responds and asks when I can bring in my vehicle.. Oh boy to my surprise, I took in my vehicle and was told I’d be called when it’s ready later, I left and around 4:30 I tried to call/sent emails on if the car would be ready on the day, so I can go about making arrangements. Did she not call me to say it will only be ready later the following week, which is 6-7 days. I decided to collect my vehicle as this was just an act out of fear on their end that they’d been escalated and I am taking the legal route, there’s absolutely no reason to keep a bonnet painting car for so so so long! Anyway my advise, for your sanity stay away. Their service is not professional and they didn’t even apologies. Terrible Mickey Mouse business
