I received poor and unprofessional service when I purchased a vehicle from them. They **** after the service history of the vehicle and now they are giving me a run around on a service they must do and outstanding tools.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Hyundai Wonderboom. I took my Hyundai i20 Motion in for its 120,000 km service, with the expectation that the work would be carried out to a high standard, particularly as this is an authorized Hyundai dealership and the brand owner. Upon collecting my vehicle, I immediately noticed a strong fuel smell inside the car. At the time, I assumed the smell would dissipate after driving the vehicle. However, three days later the issue persisted. I then contacted the service department and was advised to bring the vehicle back for inspection by service Manager (Eric). I comp**** with this instruction, and the vehicle was kept for approximately two hours while the issue was investigated. Unfortunately, when the vehicle was returned to me, the fuel smell was still present. When I queried this, I was informed that there was nothing further they could do and that this was simply how the model was designed. As a result, the vehicle has become very unpleasant to drive due to the persistent fuel smell inside the cabin. I am no longer able to enjoy driving my car, which is extremely disappointing. This is especially concerning given that I paid over R5,000 for the service. I am deeply dissatisfied with both the quality of the service provided and the manner in which my concerns were addressed, and I believe this matter warrants further attention.

I purchased a car at Hyundai Wonderboom last year in October, and six months into driving the car, it started having battery problems. Last month (February 2025) I took my car for service while it also had mechanical problem which I did explain and they looked into. Before it was diagnosed I was asked by the lady who handled the engagement, Jeanette, if I wanted to trade it in for a new one and I made it clear I wasn't ready for a new car however, I asked how much would they take it for should I consider selling it and they gave me the amount. After the diagnosis they called me with the report, after which I asked if they can still buy the car and they agreed and confirmed the same amount. I was then requested to bring in all the papers to finalise this arrangement, managed drop off the documents and the key the very same Friday. Come Monday, I was called and told they're not taking the car anymore, that I must come take it or I will incur storage costs, I really felt bul**** and regretted ever dealing with this branch, worst that that's where I bought this car! This experience has tarnished the great relationship I had with the dealer and I don't EVER want to purchase any vehicle from them in future, or recommend anyone to them. I've managed to attend to my car and it's in perfect running condition, something they could have done and still kept a happy, one of their long existing customers.

I'm never using this dealer for my car. I have been taking my car since 2020, they take you to work but will not collect you after service. I have also tried to send communication to air out my frustrations about the matter but it went on deaf ears. I have tried explaning to them that why would i have to come by taxi i left ny car with the full of petrol and even suggested cant they atleast request for you. Getting there after is a hustle since they close at 17h00 and they tell you not a minute after, so you have rush there and the traffic in a taxi where everyone is a priority. I have also took my car on the 14 February 2025 for a clutch malfunction, it was due for service on the following Monday and cant work on it that Friday and the lady assisting me told me that I should get it on Monday since they will only receive the part on the Monday and get authorisation from M-sure, my car ended up being there for the while week. When I called to ask how far they are the lady said she is waiting the insurance to respond to her since she has sent them picture as they had request and with her 14 years experience at M-sure, they might not even approve my claim. She asked how much was I covered for, i told her that M- sure advised that they should be the ones to contact them. To my surprise when I followed up with M-sure they advised that they had not received my claim from the dealer. When I called a colleagues told me that as far as she knows the cars are only going to the workshop today. Whereas when I called her back on Thursday she told me that only when I called the email just got in with the authorisation from M-sure. I asked what are the chances of me getting the car back as I use the car to take my child and to get around and she said she can't promise because they don't on Saturday. I called on Monday to say this is unacceptable that two weekends have passed without my car, that's when they they will get it done by that afternoon. I went and fetched it, the wiperblades where not changed and the sound that had prompted me to take car to them was still there. I had to take it back for the new wiper blades and to take care of the sound. The service at Hyundai Pretoria Wonderboom is so wrong in So many ways. I won't buy another Hyudai car for the very reason, they don't care at all.

I'm never using this dealer for my car. I took it for service they don't offer courtesy car had to take a texi for work, when I went to collect my car they didn't want to assist me, after couple of minutes of waiting one guy came to me and pointed me to my car keys. It was like he was looking at me wired without a smile. I personally will not seek any assistance from this dealer
