Worst dealership ever! Well took my vehicle to IC Auto Roodepoort in October 2024 after 20 months and R142K later, i would definitely not recommend this dealer to anyone they have damaged my vehicle to a point where it has been standing at their workshop, and i bought my Navara new, after they removing the engine there was a lot of issues and still are just to show the extent of the damage, scratched the radiator fan shroud, scratched the brand new airbox, Bumping my Bakkie front bumper, scratched my new powder coated rims, broken all the harness clips, broken my driver seat cover, the injector clips and just siliconed them back on, my vehicle had a engine knock on the 20th December 2025 the day i got it back so decided to take it back, they send the vehicle engine to another service provider to repair, this service provider shared a full report on the engine where it was proven that the first service provider had not done a good job which i paid for with a 12 month warranty. After getting it motor back from the second service provider i was then informed that the engine now only has a 6 month warranty, the motor then was fitted back to the vehicle since then there was an engine knock the DP then told me that my vehicle had to be put back to Standard before the can identify the problem ( to clarify I had the DPF and Cat Delete done) this was never an issue when they took my money, well they original said that the injectors had to be replaced on a motor that overheated but once again it never overheated, but yet that was never done instead they fitted new Glow plugs instead and kept the old parts so how do i know it was done well they clearly rely on customers to fix the issues got send a mail in Feb 2025 to take my vehicle to someone else for diagnostic and repair as they aren't equipped to find the fault. well after trying to find the fault I then had to drain my own fuel tank to try to find the issue where i Found water in the fuel tank after standing for 16 months on a lift in IC Auto workshop, also discovered that the air cleaner hasn't been replaced after the engine overhaul, and after paying R32K for 4 new injectors 2 now has an issue due to contamination, the Dp clearly tries to brush off any issues and not give the service the customer deserves they have a workshop that clearly doesn't know what they are doing.

I recently (26 July 2024) bought a Peugeot 2008 1.2T from IC Auto Roodepoort. I found the vehicle online on Autotrader and I went through the description and the photos and I was pleased with what I saw so I enquired. I was phoned back by Dylan McCullough and asked him a few questions about the vehicle like what’s the service history, was the vehicle in an accident and what was the condition of the vehicle etc. I was told by Dylan that the vehicle was not involved in any accident, has full service history and that the vehicle is in immaculate condition. I told him to proceed with the finance application. My application went through and I was contacted by Dylan with the news and the date that I could come through to collect the vehicle. Upon taking ownership of the vehicle I noticed a noise from the vehicle like something was loose. At first, I thought it was the wheel spanner or something in the back so I didn’t pay too much attention. I then also started noticing a knocking noise sometimes that would just randomly happen, mostly when turning left or right but sometimes when going straight as well. I started searching the internet for information as to what the issue might be and how severe and after I found out that it might be suspension, cv joints or brake assembly I phoned Westvaal Peugeot Menlyn and spoke to the Warranty clerk to check the warranty for me. I phoned Westvaal again a few days later to book in my vehicle. I explained the issue/s to them and was told that they would inspect the vehicle properly and let me know. After a few hours I was phoned back by Adhir Hiralal who gave me the bad news that basically my front shock absorbers had to be replaced. I asked him about the cause of this and he told me that this normally happens when the vehicle stands for a long time. I asked him to send me through a quotation and I also asked him about the warranty to which he told me that the warranty for suspension is 3 years or 60 000km and has already expired. Through this process I also discovered the vehicle is a 2020 model and NOT a 2021 model as advertised. I phoned IC Nissan and spoke to Gavin Groos, the Dealer principle. I told him that I purchased a vehicle from them about a month ago and that it has issues that I was not informed of. He asked me where the vehicle was currently and for my contact number, I gave him the information and he told me that he would find out from his side and contact me back. Tuesday morning, I did not hear anything back so I phoned IC Nissan again and asked to speak to Gavin. He was not available and I was asked to leave my details which I did. A bit later I received a whatsapp message from Dylan informing me that his manager is looking into it and also asking me the current mileage on the vehicle. Friday morning I have not received any feedback so I phoned Dylan and asked him, he told me that they would phone me back a bit later after their meeting. I received the call from Dylan and he told me that they would collect my vehicle on Monday and send for another inspection and would provide me with a loan vehicle. My vehicle was collected Monday 16 September and I was given a loan vehicle. I waited a week and phoned Dylan on Monday 23 September to get an update on my vehicle and was told that they are fixing it, but they are just waiting for the part. I asked Dylan if my vehicle will be ready by Friday and was told yes. Thursday I received a whatsapp voice message from Dylan advising that they as still waiting for the part (mounting) and that it would probably not be ready Friday but rather Monday. Phoned first thing Monday 30/ 09 morning and Dylan did not answer but send me a voice message on Whatsapp telling me that he is in a meeting but they are expecting the part this morning and he would keep me updated. I got the vehicle back Wednesday afternoon and I was told by Dylan that it is “All sorted”. Friday afternoon I drove home from work and on my way I was driving slowly uphill over the mountain and I heard that clicking sound again. This while going straight and uphill. Monday I drove the vehicle and I did not hear any sounds. Tuesday morning on my way to work on a straight flat road I heard that clicking / knocking sound every time I put my foot on the accelerator.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I cannot stress enough how much disdain I have for this place. Their customer service is poor. They replaced my seats (which was under warrantee) with seats of subpar quality, a completely different seat colour. It looks horrible and they have done nothing to fix the mess they created. I am selling my Nissan and getting a different brand car just so I never have to deal with these people again. If this is the type of service Nissan prides itself on, I do not want to form part of it!

I'm still waiting on service delivery for my fuse box cover I was promised by the sales person ,Dylan Mccullough. Before I purchased a car from them (I'm based in CPT) I was promised that the car is in excellent condition (nothing amiss and all checks was done)and that my fuse box cover will be delivered to CapeTown with my car I've just purchased from them immediately after I was assured about the car. I have sold my 2022 Chery Toggo 8 pro to them in an excellent, almost new condition with a low mileage of about 43000 km on clock I had for almost 22 months. Everytime I must call and communicate first and then given the back and fro run around. I'm not happy at all about their after service as it sucks big time!!! This Mahindra car that I have purchased from IC Auto Nissan Roodepoort has already made me given out more money than I ever anticipated to spend. It started with R5000.00 fuel to get the Mahindra from Johannesburg to Cape Town and my immaculate condition Chery Tiggo back to Johannesburg. Once I saw the Mahindra ,I noticed the left side rear mirror was damaged, here and there paint scratches which of cause were never disclosed to me in fact nothing was disclosed as faulty prior to me purchasing the vehicle. I now also had to pay to have my aerial fitting on the roof of the car repaired by a panel beater as it was dented and damaged and water seeped through when it rained. My reverse camera and radio wasn't working like it should and had to sort that out too. So you can imagine the exorbitant amounts of monies I had to spend and all this was never advertised in the cars and nor was it declared or advised from these mentioned sales persons. So I will keep updated regarding the comms and outcome from this real shocking service from IC Auto Nissan Roodepoort, clear water branch. You see once they got their monies for selling a ****py car to you and they dont disclose the actual state of a car to you then they dont care about their customers and their after sales customer satisfaction . Moves right on to bull**** the next customer falling victim. So let's see if I will now have to wait on Dylan's manager ,Mr Christo Beneke to see if he will keep up to his word to get back to me and see that I finally have my fuse box cover couriered to me as I was promised in February 2024 already. I will keep updated on this developing story...TBC

Best Service from any Car Dealer ever. Even their pricing was cheaper than any other quote I found. Friendly and very Efficient staff. Joyce is a star in what she does. The Mechanics are very good at what they do, found all my problems and even fixed allot of my issues for free.
