Excellent
Definitely deserves a 10 rating... my daughter and her 7 friends had an exceptional spa day and sleepover... the sevice was friendly and excellent ... the food absolutely delicious... Definite must to visit... Well done ladies

Excellent break away
Hidden gem!! From the moment I called to enquire about the spa packages available and ending up booking a 2 night stay, received excellent service. I received quotes the very next day, with options to choose my requirements. The bridal spa package was amazing and my daughter and her **** of honor had the most relaxing treatment, got rid of all the build up stress that goes with planning a wedding. The rooms where so comfortable and we were treated like royalty. Thank you to Melissa and Christa that helped with all the enquiries and bookings and a special thank you to Lynette that was there the whole time to check that we were happy and comfortable. If you need to relax and get away from the rushed city life, do yourself a favor and treat yourself at Ikhutsa. Awesome staff and excellent massage the******s.

Ikhutsa looks superior, behaves inferior
They are unprofessional. Took 3 days to respond. Changed pricing when you say you have a rewards voucher. Suddenly a half day package goes from 4 hours and many treatments to 2.5hrs to few treatments and no meal etc. My group of friends have paid R1000 before at other places for half days. 2.5hrs is a treatment time not a half day. The owner said that there are many half day packages but if you look on their website there is ONLY ONE that is a standard one excluding the other occasion offers. If theyre like this, can only imagine what sub standard products they use. dont bother going to them.

Damaged courtesy car at Ikhutsa Mountain Manor Day Spa
I booked in at Ikhutsa Mountain Manor Day Spa last year on 5 December 2017. A courtesy car which I went with to the spa was damaged by one of the staff members who offered to park it for me. The staff member did not even tell me that they drove into a pole while parking the car. I only saw it when I check out on 6 December 2017. The damages came to a total of R 3, 640.99 plus interest of R 373.20 which came to R 4, 014.19 in total. When I reported the matter to the manager, I was given the run around for more than a month only to be informed by their attorney that they will not take responsibility for the damages even though they were caused by their staff member in their premises. I found this treatment to be totally unacceptable especially because businesses should have insurance which covers their clients in such instances. All they would need to pay is an excess amount if any amount at all. The spa blatantly refused to take any responsibility what so ever nor did they apologies for the ordeal.

Wonderful Experience & Professionalism
<p>Right from the start when I first contacted Ikhutsa (Christa) I was warmly greeted and accommodated while trying to find a date that suited both myself and my partner. We bought the VIP Spa Package for 2 on Groupon. Every single item on the treatment list was done with much care and professionalism. The power in the area went out for a couple of hours and it was a freezing day - but everyone helped to make sure that we were warm by bringing us coffee, blankets, hot water bottles & keeping the fire going. They switched the order of treatments around to ensure that we stay warm and when the power came on again they continued with the full body massage & facial. Thank you to everyone at Ikhutsa who helped make our day fun, relaxing and wonderful. I cannot wait to go again! </p>

Unprofessional
Me and my fiancee was looking forward to a relaxing spa day to enjoy Valentines day. We were so disappointed from the time we arrived there. We requested for non-alcoholic drinks for one and they simply did not take note of that. The welcome drink was hot, the tablecloth was dirty and they were half an hour late for our appointment. The atmosphere was very uncomfortable with no background music (even before loadshedding). The therapists' skills were satisfactory although the massage experience was very unprofessional due to kitchen staff washing dishes and talking out load right next to the room. On more than one occasion the therapist had to silence the other staff. It was just a horrible experience and on the website there were no indication of it with all the award photos. I would not recommend this spa to anyone.
