I placed an order online for 18 roses. Unfortunately, hellopeter does not support images, otherwise, I could post a screenshot of the image of the product page from which I placed the order. The product description was: "Give your heart to someone special with these 18 red roses and willow heart bouquet in wrapping & bow." The price listed was 299.95, and the accompanying picture, also reflected a big bunch of roses. When I received it, there were only 3 roses. I also paid a delivery fee that pushed the price to just under R400. I sent a mail to them, expressing my shock that I paid R400 for 3 roses and not at all what was listed on their site. Their response was as follows: "Our apologies for the incorrect description or disappointment caused, and thank you for pointing this out to us. The standard size you selected is the picture with 3 roses as shown on the page and the 20 rose option is the one you are referring to. Unfortunately you won't get 18 ror 20 roses anywhere for R 299.95" Apologies once again for any inconvenience or disappointment caused. While I appreciate the polite tone, I don't at all appreciate the following: * While they acknowledged there was a mistake on their site in the product description and image, they made no offer to send me what was advertised and what I ordered. Tough luck for me, I guess. * And then the snarky comment that I won't find 18 roses for 300 Rand anywhere else. Well, I expect to receive the product that was advertised. I don't care about what other places are listing roses for. But I can respond, I also sure as heck don't expect to pay R100 per rose. And for what it's worth, you can actually get amazing roses for that price from Woolworths. For example, here is a link to 10 stems for R94.99. <p>I sent a friend a flower box for her anniversary with a bottle of champagne and asked for a ribbon to be tied on the bottle. My friend sent me a picture of the gift, the box was completely different to the one advertised on their website, it was a tatty painted cardboard box that looked cheap and nasty. They also didn't put a ribbon on the champagne bottle as asked. I'm very dissatisfied with their service.</p> <p>The roses were also wilted and damaged. I will not be using their services in the future. I wrote an email to them but the only thing that they could say is that they didn't realise that their suppliers had changed the boxes. Too expensive for what you actually get!</p>

I ordered flowers from abroad. The roses that arrived were quite literally half dead! I immediately contacted the supplier, after being told how bad the flowers were, and corresponded with Brendon who was polite and helpful, contacted the supplier, and another bunch of flowers was delivered the next day.

I ordered an arrangement of flowers from their website. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and didn't notice that I put my own address as the delivery address and the billing address as our bereaved friend's address.<br> <br> Fortunately Lize noticed my mistake and seamlessly corrected it for me, so that the flowers were delivered to the correct address the following day. My friend was absolutely thrilled with the beautiful arrangement.<br> <br> Super service.<br> <br> Thanks very much.
