Disappointed
It was horrible service, we were ignored by our waiter most of the time. He brought everyone's food except for one person on the table who's food came after we were all finished. The different waiter who brought our food was very rude.

Disappointed

Never again
I have never had to wait 40 mins intervals between drinks. I sat down at Jackson's at 10:45 looking to have breakfast. At 11:42 I was asked if I wanted something to eat after shouting for service just to be told breakfast is only served untill 11:30. This place has a exec of waiters and yet to tables are waited on. It's a joke....

Never again

Jackson Usless Restaurant OR Tambo
What a bunch of useless clowns. Isaac is the most useless till operator arround. Tried to purchase a sandwich and he could not take time to ring up the bill.....tried it twice. What a nuttless chimp.

Disgusting management
Absolutely disgusted at the way that they treat their customers. I phoned to get a price of one of their products before driving half an hour away to get it incase it was too expensive. After finding out the price I drove through. To find out while paying that the person I phoned read the price of the wrong product. The manager Ernst then said oh well. Nothing we can do about it. Absolutely no concern as to the fact that I would not have driven half an hour away (and then would need to turn back and go back half an hour) without the product, all because their employee could not read.

Jacksons are relaibly terrible
Jacksons OR Thambo ****hole. Service does not exist. I sat for 15min, and watched other people get up to get a waiter's attention. They were congregated in the corner of the restaurant in that typical I-dont-give-a-poes-about-service cluster. Jacksons has terrible service, every time Ive been there.

Avoid at all costs
At a cost of R300 2 cold plates containing sausages with blood running out, congealed eggs one of which was broken and undercooked bacon. To add insult to injury 2 slices of bread already spread with margarine.

Avoid at all cost, the worst service, I had better service in Iran. Also possible connection with Guptas hence the free New Age Newspaper available there.
Interior looks nice. BUT Cold oil soggy chips and food. No replies to e-mails 1 HOUR WAIT FOR BREAKFAST other people got food before we could order, yet we were there before them. I saw three people walk out of the restaurant and one pretty lady highly upset. There used to be a Mug and Bean there, wake up you have a nice place but one waiter can't run eight tables.

<p>My wife and I ordered breakfast and coffee at Jacksons OR Thambo this morning. We were charged R 5 each for a small glass of tap water which I was advised of and agreed to. I ordered the Classic B Fast which the menu says comes with 2 eggs 3 rashes of bacon chilli beans and feta on toast. I thought something was wrong when my meal arrived as it looked scant on the plate It was only afterwards I realised there was only 1 egg and 2 rashers of bacon. when I complained to the waiter and manager they were at a loss as to how to deal with the issue and even did not take up my suggestion to waive the fee on the water. I was still charged the full R 79 for my meal. There was also no salt cellar on the table and I had to ask for HP sauce which bottle was empty when it arrived. Certainly not an advert for international tourists let alone SA residents. Needless I will not be back</p>
