Yesterday, I asked the staff at the Bayside Mall Kase artist stand to quote me on a screen protector for my new phone. Without asking my permission, the man took my phoneinstalled a screen protector and then asked me to pay R799. This is outrageous pricing and while he tried to explain away that it was a 3 layer privacy protector, I did not agree to it, nor could I afford it. I repeatedly asked for the price when his back was turned, loudly, so he cannot say he didnt hear me. He tried telling me he didnt understand me. I speak clear, eloquent English. He tried to haggle with me relentlessly when I asked him to remove the protector I didnt ask for, and kept arguing with me. I have previously had a screen protector done the week before, for R199. I had to call centre management and security, and threaten to call SAPS (the police) and when he saw I was serious and that 8 security guards were on their way, he told me I could tap my card and pay the same price I paid last week. This is unacceptable behavior and sales techniques. I tried reaching out to the owner and the phone number doesnt exist. I sent whatsapps to the cell listed on their website - same response. Its shocking and I will boycott the stand and raise awareness in the area about this incident. How many other people are they trying this tactic with ? I will not bul**** by a salesperson !!

The Kasi Artist salesman at Fourways Mall shop incorrectly processed a payment from my card twice on 22-Dec-2025 (speed point issue). I provided proof from bank that the transaction was processed twice and he promised to refund the money. The Head Office then called me that they need a bank statement, even after I'd provided them with Proof of Payments from the Bank. I've subsequently provided them with the transaction listing and still waiting for the refund. On the positive, the salesman called me to apologise and said if it was a cash transaction he would have been able to refund me, but unfortunately, the head office has policies

I am extremely unhappy with Kase Artist at Menlyn Mall and will never recommend this store — or the brand — to anyone. On Sunday, I purchased a PlayStation 5 controller from this store. The salesperson explicitly assured us that the controller was original. When we got home, we discovered that the controller did not work at all and was clearly not authentic. We returned to the store on Tuesday to request a refund. The same salesperson who sold us the controller confirmed that the refund would be processed either on Tuesday (16-12-2025) or Wednesday (17-12-2025). To date, no refund has been processed, despite the fact that the store has my full banking details, which were written down on the back of the slip. To make matters worse, every contact number listed for this store is non-functional. I have tried calling: 071 488 5552 (listed on Google) 072 964 9609 (listed on your website) The 060 customer care number provided in store None of these numbers work. This raises serious concerns about how this business is being run and whether customers are being deliberately left without any form of support or accountability. I am demanding that my refund be processed before close of business today at 20:00 on 17-12-2025, in line with your trading hours. This situation is unacceptable, misleading, and extremely frustrating. Your immediate attention to this matter is required.

Bad quality, and bad after-sales service if unhappy with said quality. They aren't upfront about pricing, and if the product is faulty they pretend to care about Google reviews

Concerning Kase Artist at Cresta Mall in Johannesburg. (This should be a zero star rating.) I have been trying to find a tablet cover for my Huawei MatePad SE 11-inch tablet, there were none that fit at Incredible Connection and the staff there recommended going to the Huawei shop. Huawei does not make or sell covers at their shop and they recommended going to the Kase Artist shop. The salesman there was very pushy, demanding to see our phones, when he knew we were only there for a tablet cover. He pulled a tablet cover out of a cupboard and said he sold one recently but that they do not perfectly fit the Huawei tablets. It fitted ok enough to use while I try find a more fitting cover, so we agreed to get it. The cover is of poor quality and has no defining make or model, just a very cheap product that will do the job for a bit. I expected it would cost no more than R200, as proper covers cost around R550 at Incredible Connection. The salesman loaded the speedpoint and asked me to tap, I stupidly did not think to ask how much the cover costs and tapped, then entered my pin. When I saw the amount it was for R1200!!!! R1200 for a piece of **** cover, when the tablet itself only costs R3000. I have never experienced such a dishonest shop before and felt like this is all my fault. Upon checking out Google reviews I saw that it has happened to other people too at the Cresta Kase Artist store. So they are a dishonest bunch of sleazy salesmen and I am spreading the word. Do not support them.

My custom-made phone case arrived today, and I was really happy with how it turned out. I even left a 5 star review here, and then when I checked my case again, I noticed a little spot that had already peeled off. I know this spot wasn't here when It arrived because I sent a picture of the case to a friend who was interested in getting his custom made case from Kase artists and didn't see the peeled spot in the picture. Disappointing quality. I don't think this case will last very long if it's already peeling on day 1.
