On 23 October 2025, at approximately 19:30, I, Ngwenya Given, with contact detail 0684494131, residing in Terenure, Kempton Park, approached the KFC Kempton Gate Mall Drive-Thru to purchase a Streetwise 2 Pap meal. After placing my order, I was instructed to wait 20 minutes for my meal, following an initial 5-minute delay prior to ordering. When I raised my concern regarding the excessive and habitual delays, the manager on duty, identified as Joyce, responded in a discourteous and dismissive manner, instructing me to “go to another branch” if I could not wait. This conduct constitutes a dereliction of duty and a violation of the imp**** contractual obligation to provide prompt and courteous service. Such behaviour and inefficiency amount to a breach of Sections 54 and 55 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), which guarantee every consumer the right to timely, efficient, and quality service and prohibit suppliers from rendering service that is defective, unreasonable, or substandard. This incident, coupled with repeated occurrences of similar service failures, evidences a systemic pattern of non-compliance with the statutory duties imposed by the CPA. The branch’s conduct further contravenes Section 48, which prohibits unfair, unreasonable, or unjust conduct by suppliers, and Section 3, which enshrines the principles of fair dealing and good faith in consumer transactions. Accordingly, I hereby demand formal remedial action, including a written apology, a management review of operational inefficiencies, and the implementation of corrective measures to ensure future compliance. Failing a satisfactory response within seven (7) business days, I reserve my right to escalate this matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud and to pursue further legal remedies in terms of Section 69(d) of the CPA.

Unprofessional staff at counter. Ignores you as customer while in line... Tshepiso at counter we were there Friday at 16h30 order 295 view cameras staff member was hogging the que for more than 10mins...when husband scolded Tshepiso she laughed in his face!!! bad won't go there again... First time and last time as walk in clients... Supervisor Petunia just as bad. Get staff that appreciate their jobs... Millions waiting to be employed that will really be better with hospitality with face to face clients

I went to this kfc for the first time and expected it to be like other kfc's.I ordered A family feast on 3 August.The chicken was kind of raw and had a weird slimy texture when you broke a piece off.I had 4 pieces and got sick a few hours after that.(i only had kfc that day) I got really bad food poisoning.The rest of my friends also got sick.When we went to tell them about this the staff members words were "It's not our chicken". Do KFC even care about their customers writing bad reviews, KFC Kemptongate this is the second time I ordered from them I usually use Isandovale which I never had any issues wuith, but KFC Kempton Gate is the worst, the first time I had to ask for a refund as they delivered 3 hours late, I waited 14 days for this refund, today the 17th of June 2025 I ordered @ 11H45 and it os now 13H20 and no delivery, the Call Centre just tell you that they can see the delivery guy moving but on the app there is no movement. Now I need to ask for a refund again and wait another 14 days, RIDICULOUS!@!!!!

I am never impressed with the service at kfc kempton gate mall. They will deliver the order with missing items. I ordered 6 chicken nuggets with a colonel sauce but it came without one. The only reason why I even order those nuggets is because of the sauce, but they never include it. This is not the first time. And I was told to order it separately but it's included on the MrD app. This error should be corrected because it really is frustrating. Kfc kempton gate, do better!

Good day I am not surprised that no one has followed up on my complaint at KFC. This is the service I received and you run away from your responsibilities. I wish to once again explain my dissatisfaction with KFC Kempton Gate on 26 November 2024. My order no: 111940 refers. This order was placed at 17h43 and confirmed. I had to phone your 0860100222 several times to complain about my delivery. After receiving a sms advising me that my order has been collected at 18h35. The first advice was it would have been delivered by 18h06. The order arrived at 19h07. When the food arrived it was cold and unpleasant but we waited so long for it we did not want to send it back. I questioned the driver infront of your delivery man on the phone why he took so long. He said that the previous driver declined the first round and he was then asked to replace him. I am not happy with this service I received from KFC and I made it very clear.

I ordered some dunked wings on September 18th and waited over an hour for them to arrive. Eventually, I was told my order got cancelled because there were no drivers available. They said I’d get my refund in 7 to 14 days, but I still haven’t seen it. I really want my refund.
