Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding consistently poor service I have received at the KFC branch in Ninapark, Pretoria. This was my third negative experience at this particular branch. On two previous occasions, my order was incorrect, despite having paid for items that I did not receive. I did not check the orders at the time, as the order is repeated multiple times: first at the intercom, then again at the pay point, and once more at the collection window when the receipt is checked and the order repeated. As a customer using a drive-through—especially when in a hurry—it is reasonable to assume that the order is correct after these multiple confirmations. Unfortunately, on both occasions, I only discovered the errors once I arrived home. As a result, I avoided this branch for some time and used another KFC with significantly better service. However, that branch is out of my way, and I would naturally prefer to support a branch closer to home. After a few months, I decided to return to the Ninapark branch to treat my family, hoping that the service had improved. Regrettably, the experience was worse than before. While placing my order at the intercom, the staff member was speaking loudly to colleagues in the background in another language. I had to wait for her to finish before she rudely said “hello.” While I was placing my order, she again spoke to someone in the background and then said “hello” once more, indicating she had not heard my order. I was forced to repeat myself before being told to drive through. At the pay point, the environment was extremely loud due to staff conversations, making it difficult to hear the cashier confirm the order and payment amount. After paying, I proceeded to the collection window, where a staff member asked for my receipt, checked the order, and then instructed me to park and wait for my food. I explained that I would prefer to wait in the drive-through queue. The staff member became visibly irritated, made a dismissive sound, and shouted while walking away to her colleagues. Shortly thereafter, a cold drink was pushed through the window without any acknowledgment. When I politely pointed out that I had ordered a Coke Zero and not a regular Coke, the staff member again reacted with irritation before replacing the drink. By the time I received my meal, I was extremely dissatisfied with the overall service. The behavior displayed by multiple staff members was rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I strongly believe that management intervention is required at this branch to address customer service standards. I would also like to add that asking customers to park and wait for their food defeats the purpose of a fast-food drive-through. If customers are expected to leave the queue and wait elsewhere, it significantly undermines the convenience that a drive-through is meant to provide. Terrible service. Placed my order at 21:09 and finally received my food at 21:40. To my surprise, the lady who handed me the food comes to me and tells me she gave me the wrong order (not true) and proceeds to take the food. I was made to wait another 10 minutes at which point I told them this is unacceptable and I am told that they are busy preparing the food. To my surprise, I was handed the exact same food that was taken from me. The staff is nonchalant and act like you are bothering them when you speak to them. Ruined the entire experience and delayed my arrival to my destination.

Fully knowing how difficult it is to get a job in this economy, I am writing this with a heavy heart as I’m a resident of Theresapark ext 2 and the nearest KFC to me is the Ninapark KFC. In a number of occasions I’ve had very terrible service from this store and has led me to write this review. The one of many is on the 09/09/2025 around 20:00 I went to the store to purchase our usual order of 2x streetwise 5 for the family and when I got home a (2) couple of pieces where missing from the second box. Had to go back with hungry husband to complain over the missing pieces. To our surprise we were treated with an attitude of 3 young men who had their name badges hidden and an apology which was condescending to say the least. From then on we as a family started counting our orders immediately after receiving them. Today we experience yet another disappointing experience, as we were ignored and looked down soon as we wanted to place our order. We then opted for the special and when we wanted to pay we were told that the order is cash only. I offered to head to the Std bank ATM by Spar and the objection I got was that I’d have to wait 30 mins for my order. We left without purchasing anything and head on to McDonald’s PTA north to buy supper. For someone who has a busy lifestyle and is trying to keep his expenses to a minimum the store is convenient for my family, but not at a cost of our dignity. From now on we’ve decided to use the KFC in Madelief, even though it’s a few more kilometres away. The store has their complaints and compliments contact number on the wall, but I wonder how effective is it as this is an ongoing recurrence. Please help us save the integrity of this store and keep us from having to consider traveling further from our homes to find convenient

Very impressed with the quality of meals and the service of the staff at KFC Ninapark. The staff are always pleasant and eager to serve one. The manageress, Lydia goes above and beyond to provide a good quality of service, to keep her staff motivated and to ensure customer satisfaction. Well done KFC Ninapark! You are certainly doing things right.

I trust that this post reaches the employee designated to attend to negative online hellopeter and other social media posts. 1.) I am a regular KFC customer and this is not the first time I have received a poor quality product from your KFC Nina park branch 2.) The "not so popular products ' such as double crunch zinger patties are more often than not stale and stringy in consistency, leaving customers disappointed and with indigestion problems. As a former part fast food employee, I am well aware of what happens when food is items is left in the warmer for extended periods of time). Kindly ensure QA checks at the above mentioned branch are in place so as to ensure that customers like myself are not left repeatedly disappointed and undigested.
