These guys are absolute con artists, stay well clear of anything related to them, tigrent learning or anything related to rich dad. Their entire process is meticulously developed down to the finest detail to put dreams of financial independence and leisure into the poor saps’ heads at their seminars; I was one of those saps. Once they get you interested you shell out a small amount for a weekend long event where you were “learn the basics” but it is actually just a glorified up sell where they convince you that you really need one of the higher packages if you want to live those dreams of yours and you have to get it before the end of the weekend otherwise you will pay more and not get these exclusive bells and whistles. I signed up with a friend of mine and we managed to get them to let us pay off the amount over a couple of months as it was too much to shell out in one go. As we were nearing the end of our payments I tried to contact them to find out where our account was standing so we could settle it and go to our “advanced” course and start getting couching. I got no response from them for weeks so naturally we stopped paying. Eventually I reached out to as many other contacts I could find related to them and still got nothing back. Eventually after a month or so I managed to get a hold of someone that helped sign me up through their personal facebook account and found that Legacy education just jumped ship out of South Africa and left both their clients and their employees in the lurch. I got pointed in the right direction and eventually got a response from legacy education saying that our cancellation period has already passed and basically because of covid they can not deliver on the product they sold us. They used the virus as an excuse, not the fact that they just ******ed off without telling their clients or even saying “Hey, these contacts we provided you will no longer work, please use these ones.” So now what must I do? Go to London to get what I paid for? Wait for legacy to one day come back to South Africa, if ever? That does not work for me at all and after my experience with these crooks I will do anything I can to make sure they do not come back here or have a presence in this country, they have zero intention of helping people, they are only coming here to exploit desperate individuals and make poor people poorer. If I actually got something for my money and did nothing with it, it would be a completely different story but I got nothing. My lawyers are currently preparing a case so we can get our money back. South Africans aren’t the kind of people that take this kind of treatment laying down so I urge anyone reading this who have experienced similar treatment from anyone in the rich dad mob to get lawyers involved and to reach out to me and each other so we can fight back as a united front to keep these crooks out of our country.

I attended the free seminar and stupidly signed up to the paid 2 day course that was 'half price for today only'. I later found out that the course is not even run by legacy education alliance and the full price of the course is 1/3 of what i paid at a supposed 50% discount, so in other words, the usual price that legacy education alliance charge is 6 x the actual course price. I requested a refund based on being misled and lied to but they refused and are ignoring my emails. They don't answer the phone so it is my only method of contacting them. The have since cancelled the course that i was due to attend and still have not refunded me. This is appalling. Do not throw money away with this company - they are not to be trusted.

I attended a free 2h evening workshop in Tauranga, New Zealand where the 3 day course was advertised. It was made clear that if one signed up for the course on the night but changed ones mind within 7 days, one would be entitled to a full refund. I questioned Lauren Bickley (who was in charge of processing the payments for signing up on the evening) as to the legitimacy of this 7 day refund. She ensured me that if I changed my mind, my money would be refunded. It has been over 2 months since first requesting a refund (4 days after signing up for and paying for the course). I have been in contact both with Lauren Bickley and Stacey Hill. Initially they communicated with me telling me that my refund request had been passed on to senior management and should be processed within 21 working days. No refund ever came and despite my numerous e-mails and letter of complaint they are still ignoring me. Clearly I have been caught up in a scam. I have contacted the Citizens Advice Bureau, Netsafe and the Commerce Commission to report Legacy Education Alliance. It is becoming clear that they have no intentions of responding to my e-mails or refunding my money. Stay well away from them!

I write this review with utter disappointment and complete loss of confidence regarding the transparency and proffesionalism of Legacy education institution in South Africa. In October 2014 I attended the presentation on property investing which was a sales pitch to further attend the 2 day training workshop on in-depth property investing. At a cost of R13 000 I signed up. I was informed I could bring a friend to the 2 day workshop which was held at the Radisson Blu in Sandton in January of 2015. This workshop pretty much tilted towards investing in property in the UK as most of the scenarios used were based on the UK property market dynamics. At the end of the workshop we were presented with options to further training and personal coaching and this came at a hefty price. We took the plunge and signed up . Collectively I paid R90 000 for me and my friend. 2 months down the line I got informed of imminent retrenchment which then happened in May 2015. My friend whose main dependant is her mother fell ill that same year and till to date fully looks after her mother who is elderly amd frail. As a result had no choice but to renege on proceeding with training. On my part I hung on hoping to get another job but as life would have it that wasn't the case. I lost my home, cars and during the course of mid 2016 I informed Legacy education of the situation at hand and requested that they look into this matter and possibly try to work out an arrangement to retrieve the funds i had paid for training. I took into account that these misfortunes had occured after the 7 day cool off period from the date of payment. It was a mammoth task to get prompt responses from them. It even took me close to 6 weeks to have them E-MAIL me my copy of the contract. Fast forward to May 2017 after there was back and forth communication, the CEO of the South Africa office responded in an arrogant email informing that I would not receive any refund and that rather once I am employed, I can then revert back to the company and continue training. Honestly I feel cheated on. I have bills to pay, a family to.look after. It has not been easy to find formal employment in my field of work. To this present day I have to hustle as survival is key. I don't think their recommendation of living things to chance until the next best thing happens holds any water. Not a single day for the last 2 and a half years have I heard from these people. No show of any effort . And this is an institution that one is expected to get value for money services? I don't think so. I will never recommend anyone to fork out a dime on this organization's services and products. I am deeply disappointed in the manner they have conducted themselves.

We went to the 2 day Basic Training Course, and most of the days were a selling pitch for further training. I was not interested in going further but my husband has been a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki books for many years and even though we are both very busy at the moment in our jobs, agreed to go for Momentum training with a coach. I should have seen the dollars shining in the eyes, as the near hysteria moment of when we said we would only pay R 26 odd thousand, half of the cost, rather than the full amount. On the Tuesday we went to the network evening and my true beliefs of the programme just being a money spinner, seemed justified. No one I engaged with had actually made money yet, instead they were all still learning, looking at new avenues, being life coached into something different as well, but the bottom line was, NO ONE who had been on training the previous year, had yet made money or sold a property ,they were still spending money on courses, coaching etc. We informed everyone we were currently too busy to attend the session of training we were scheduled for and I actually decided that this is just a waste of money and I don't wish to pursue this further. I sent an email to that effect that I was not spending more money. I got no response to my comment about refunds, as it was out of the 7 days. I was told other arrangements could be made for our training and no more sales pitches. All I wanted was a portion of my money back and to be as far away as possible from these people. Take the money and go on an island holiday, do not give it to them, as I have totally wasted R26000.00!

Attended the February 3 day trading course. I felt completely ripped off. Instead of a trading course I attended another sales presentation (which I had to pay for!!!!!!). As with above complaint I was totally fed up by 2nd day listening to how I/we need to spend as much as we possible could on a couch to succeed. I learnt absolutely nothing during the course. You are taught virtually nothing (I was already a trader) - you have to PAY FOR EVEN ANOTHER COURSE for that!!! But I could also tell from the quality of the instruction that I would learn nothing from this "exhorbitant' next phase. From a South african perspective there are many extremely good experienced analysts who trade full time and also run very informative courses at a fraction of these costs. To repeat the above - Don't waste our money. As this is a UK company maybe the should familiarise themselves with the UK Misrepresentation Act 1967. "If one relied on a statement when deciding whether or not to go ahead with a purchase, and this then turns out to be wrong, one may be entitled to claim compensation" According to the SA National Consumer Commission - "Suppliers are not permitted to, directly or indirectly, provide consumers with false, misleading or deceptive representations regarding goods or services;" an argument for fraud?????

Attended the 2 hour free info session and the signed up for the 2 day training for R4995. Only attended 1 day of the training because if I had a Rand for every time they told me I needed to spend more money employing a property coach I would have got my money back. This is a selling machine which they get you to pay for. You can learn more spending 1 hour googling. Don't waste your time and money.
