I ordered prescription glasses from Lensmart (Order No. C26040248555399467). When the glasses arrived, I could not see through them at all — they were completely unusable. I contacted Lensmart to report the problem and request a refund. In their first response, they openly acknowledged that the glasses were unusable due to an incorrect prescription. Based on that admission, they offered me a partial refund — frames only — and expected me to pay for international return shipping. I rejected this as unfair. When I pushed back and demanded a full refund, Lensmart completely reversed their position. They began blaming me for the prescription error, claiming I had manually captured the wrong prescription — which is false. I uploaded my prescription on their website. Their own system limitations (guest/tourist order) are not my problem. This company: ✗ Delivered a product that is 100% unusable ✗ Initially admitted fault, then denied it ✗ Changed their story multiple times ✗ Refused to issue a full refund for THEIR error ✗ Expected the customer to cover return shipping costs for a defective product This is deceptive business practice and a violation of consumer rights. Do NOT order from Lensmart. If anything goes wrong, they will dodge accountability at every turn.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Lensmart. They insisted that my glasses were made exactly according to the prescription provided by my optometrist, yet from the moment I wore them I felt disoriented and uncomfortable. I gave it a full day, hoping my eyes simply needed time to adjust, but the problem remained. To make matters worse, when I took the glasses off, I discovered that the frame had already broken after just one day of wear, which speaks volumes about the poor quality. I contacted customer service and was initially told they would send me a replacement pair, which seemed promising. However, after some time, they then asked me to measure my PD myself using the ruler they had included. Suddenly, I was told I would need to pay to have the lenses remade because the PD was “incorrect.” This is extremely frustrating. As a customer, how am I expected to know the PD was wrong when the prescription I provided has worked perfectly for the glasses I’ve been wearing for the past year with no issues at all? It feels unfair to shift the blame and extra cost onto the customer instead of taking responsibility for a poor product and unsatisfactory service. Sadly, this experience has left me with no confidence in Lensmart’s quality control or customer care.

I have sent them an email with the correct address and contact number. They shipped my order to the wrong address and my contact number is still wrong

I honestly regret ordering from Lensmart. They proudly promise that manufacturing your glasses takes 3–5 working days — but that’s a blatant lie. It’s been over a month, and I’m still waiting for my order. When I finally reached out, they claimed, “Oh, we found your lenses were faulty and didn’t meet quality standards, so we’re remaking them.” I asked when they discovered this — the first week, second, third, or fourth? No one could give me an answer. Instead, I got vague apologies and another promise to “expedite the process.” That was another week ago, and still nothing has arrived. To make matters worse, when I asked them to expedite shipping (since they were already three weeks late on their own timeline), they told me I’d have to pay extra. Unbelievable. It’s clear that Lensmart only prioritizes first-time buyers. Once they’ve got your money, repeat customers mean nothing to them. There’s no loyalty, no transparency, and no sense of responsibility. If this is your first order, run and don’t look back — because after that, you’ll be stuck in the same endless waiting game I’m in now. ****.

Bad service received from this company. First time buyer, bought glasses and now i have an issue with them and they refuse to help me. Terrible business to deal with. I have reached out to them on a number of occasions to have the matter resolved but they are unwilling to resolve the matter.

Ordered glassed from Lensmart uploaded the script however i was sent wrong just normal reading glasses , now i am told that i need to pay for the collection and delivery , although its their mistake . the customer service on FB massager is a mess .
