Hi we as the lesedi Municipal Residents we are fed up about the services rendered,the thing is they have blocked us(Community Members) from buying electricity,funny enough without any valid explanation I just feel like we are being **********,on top of that after paying the due amount they have requested still you need to pay 10%,where will one get money hence we have a high unemployment rate in our community? I for one I paid the required amount (R500) on the 14 of July 2025 but on the 23rd iwas already blocked from buying electricity I feel we as Residents we are not treated fairly by the Municipality.

Good morning, My name is Nkosana Alfred Nkutha reside in Heidelberg Lesedi Local Municipality, hereby registered for an RDP housing in Vereeniging and early this year I also registered for housing subsidy in Ratanda under Lesedi Municipality, When I follow up online HSS portal found that my application has been failed I don't know the reason why coz I am 45 years old with three kids currently unemployed, The other peoples are approved when they check theirs, I think this is unfair because I have been waiting for 10 years just for subsidy and long queues, I am really stressed about the outcome of my application, kindly please advise

Lesedi Mun in Heidelberg Gauteng must be the worst there is.Since 1h00 this morning without electricity.The procedure is to phone the call centre to report. The people answering the phone has no idea working or speaking with the public.They rude incapable of providing the service they so proudly anounce when you phone. The normal Sunday gets taken away and the answer you get is turn everything of in your house no clue of understanding that the on and off happens during the "search" to find a fault. Lesedi call centre Heidelberg step up or make way for people that know what they are suppose to do

I am beyond disappointed with the service I received. I logged a query about a power outage at my house, and I was assured that an electrician had been dispatched. However, hours went by with no update and no one arriving to resolve the issue. When I called the call center to follow up, I spoke to a consultant named Mathieso, who was not only unhelpful but shockingly rude. She spoke to me in a dismissive tone and showed no interest in assisting me. When I calmly asked for clarity on the delay, she rudely hung up on me. She forth became sarcastic about the challenge of being unreachable which became very disturbing and distasteful This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially in situations where people are left without electricity. I expect a higher standard of customer service, timely responses, and staff who show basic respect and professionalism. This experience has left me frustrated and deeply dissatisfied.

ITS 8 MAY 2024 -I've been trying since 09:03am to call Lesedi to find out what my water and light are, as I didn't receive an account. I've called 0164920087 -0164920070- 0164920223- 0164920061- 0164920091-0163300400 so the last time (12:20) I spoke to the lady that answered 0163300400 - so she said I must go to the office, I said I work in JHB and live in Heidelberg so I asked her, do I have to take of work now to go get my bill? she said its not her problem what must she do about it.!!! LESEDI MUNICIPALITY YOU ARE PATHETIC!!!!!! USELESSSSSSS employees that sit around all day!!! receive a huge salary for eating KFC!!!!!!!! BEACAUSE ITS CLEAR THAT YOU DONT WORK AT ALLLLLLLLLL

We've been without water for 58 days. This is ridiculous. Every now and then we get a picture of the water pressure meter but NO answers or explanations on what is going on. This is only Rensburg. Heidelberg CBD and surrounding areas have had uninterrupted water supply this whole time. Someone is getting a cut from all the borehole drilling being done by desperate residents who can actually afford to do so. I'm renting and can't afford it. And have to drive around to get water for basic household needs. But it is quite convenient for the Mayor to be "unaware" of the issues as the mayor is not even a resident of Heidelberg. CLOSE LLM and place us under Ekuruhleni Municipality. *******ion and ******** is running our beautiful town down.

2 months and Rensburg in Heidelberg still dont have water. Now imagine yourself with taps thats like an ornament..🤮..and best yet.. paying more for the water you dont have.. Is this due to Rand water or the mismanagement of our municipality? I would really like to have an answer and maybe some 💧 water

The worst ever.. blaming Rand Water for the residents in Rensburg not having water for nearly 2 months.. Where are our human rights if they dont supply us the water thats being billed on our accounts. Are the mayor of Heidelberg to blame for not paying Rand Water?
