An excellent pv system for any house
I had a Livoltek 5kW all in one system installed by an approved installer and the system worked so well that, after selling my house I am installing the same again, although I am adding a second battery to be able to switch off the grid about 95% of the time. The system sometimes had a hic-up, but phoning the support service in Jhb., they sorted the problems amicably. I read that some people are unhappy, but it is not a plug-and-play system - you have to get an installer that knows what to do and you will be happy for ever after.

Just want to give credit to the Livoltek team for outstanding service. I inherited a plant in Bronkhorstspruit where the 2 x 5kw system was not functioning in full. I contacted Livoltek offices and they answered their phone immediately, unlike my experience with some other Solar companies. After trying to help on the telephone as much as they could , they said they would call me back the next morning. The next morning they called and said they would be coming through to the plant. I want to give credit to the team of Technicians: Tumelo , Nkululeko and Lahla, they definitely know their product and in an hour the plant was up and running, updated & tested. Livoltek struggle
A beautiful piece of equipment. Suppose to be ornamental in design and just plug and play that can be installed in your lounge as a feature However, nothing works. Can’t be stopped to feed back to the grid - trips all the time Updated app shows that there is no load and that the solar is charging the Grid No one to help or assist. They dont talk to customers, only contractors and installers Leaving me stuck with equipment that is not fit for purpose

not a happy client
Nearly 2 months later and there is still problems with the Livoltek software program. At this moment my solar panels are switched off and I must switch myself between the grid and the invertor if there is load shedding , after paying lots of money for a "working system" The sales people are brilliant but unfortunately the technical back -up not ( maybe because of all the issues/problems ?)

Bad product from Livoltek
Livoltek Management, sales department, aftersales service and technical departments are the worst!!! Ever since we installed our inverter the product is giving problems. Now that we need service, the sales manager Josh told me to speak to their technical department. Livoltek!!! I want you to come and remove your ****ty product and refund me so that I can buy a proper system that actually works.

Livoltek, no reply or customer support. Damn useless
If there was a chance for no stars, I would submit that. I have left several messages and emails for them to contact me and after weeks of waiting, have decided to write to Hellopeter. I will not recommend this company to anyone, as a solar supplier of equipment, if this is how they do business, with no response, how will they be on aftersales support. 0/10 in my books

Livoltek is a company which sells solar products, ie inverters and batteries. The app which is supplied by them and controls the inverter, doesn't work 70% of the time. this means the client cannot control or make any changes to his solar system. The problem is possibly the ****le that is faulty for all of the inverters. I hope they replace the ****le soon. In the mean time, think twice before installing such a system.
