It was a great place until the change over. Pizza's were great round with well balanced taste and base. Not its a square pizza with no taste and with a 3rd of the toppings. As soon as a great restaurant becomes a franchise it becomes a supermarket! I will not be going back as they have lost the touch! its a pity as its a great location for a outing. The last time I went a person driving Lexus can speeding in with total disregard to anyone walking in the parking lot, popped out of his car in a silly has, and it turned out to be the new owner. He was in flip flops and shorts chin-wagging on his cell for all to hear. Not professional...... Sad that the original owners left, there are many more to go to with better service and food.

Before u go visit this sorry excuse for a restaurant please look at an alternative. They advertise eat as much as you want on specific days for dishes but it’s a absolute joke. Having ordered prawns and asking for a top up I was simply told sorry my manager Sayed we not serving anymore prawns. No explanation whatsoever just u don’t get anymore. I therefore want to warn you beware of this sorry excuse for a restaurant and real shoddy service. The manager on duty for 4th July ,19 is an absolute clown and has no clue about a thing called customer service. Damn rip offs yah lol I’m still hungry

The worst breakfast experience. Firstly the waiter made us wait 15 orders to place our drinks order. 2. after asking for a mamosa, the waiter asked what is a mamosa and if it is on the menu after having one there before (poor training) 3. our coffee wasn't even prepared and was told it will come after the meal. 4. my friend's calamari meal came with watery sauce which was supposed to be tartar sauce 5. I was given the completely wrong meal then what I had ordered whilst the waiter tried to pursue in debating my order. I was given an old wet bottom bun with two beef patties and nothing on it. 6. The manager proposed to take our personal cell numbers to call for a free meal which we disappointingly declined. Maestros either get new management or close down and go back to the drawing board. No one wants to experience a Saturday morning breakfast like I did after a hard week at work who craves a relaxing breakfast by the ocean..

We were completely taken aback by the awesome service from a waitress, Demi. During a busy time she was extremely helpful, on the ball and just excellent. Quite rare these days. Thanks

On Wednesday, 06 January 2016 I had the absolute worst experience of breakfast at Maestro's on the Beach. My mum and I arrived at 9:45 indicating to our waitress that I had a 10:45 appointment and therefore our food needed to served by 10:30. After 25 mins we received our cups of coffee breakfast was enroute when I had to leave at 10:40. I advised the waiter that I would be back in an hour and left my mum behind. The waiter continued to badger my mum about her having her breakfast in the meantime which she declined and had subsequently asked to speak to the Manager on duty who declined to address my mum. At 1210 my mum advised the waiter that she may bring out our meals which she promptly said yes to and which eventually arrived at our tables at 12:45 only to find the eggs, 2 hours prior prepared looking sad on our plates. The food was sent back and the Manager abruptly says and NOW WHAT? Is customer service a foreign concept to Maestro's? Does your Manager think that having pristine views of the beach means that she can treat customers like crap?? As for our waiter a SENSE OF URGENCY and Proactive Customer Service is a Novel concept. I will never go back or recommend Maestro's.

We decided to head to Maestros last night due to loadshedding. We ordered two pizzas and one of them brought to our table had off chicken served. Being pregnant, my partner immediately sent it back. Both the waitor and the floor manager agreed that the chicken was not right and brought us a different pizza. I was still charged for the other pizza. After paying the waitor, on our way out he still asked if we had paid with a cocky attitude. It seems that Maestros is more concerned with money than it is in quality food and service. If I had eaten that off chicken who knew what would have happened! We are apalled by the lack of quality control and service. It seems that lack of good food and arrogance rules this spot.

I SENT AN EMAIL TO MAESTRO'S AND NOT ONE OF THE SUPPOSED 4 OWNERS HAVE BOTHERED TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY UNHAPPINESS AT THE POOR SERVICE. THE BAR FACILITIES THEY PROMISED WAS NOT AVAILABLE AS THEY HAD BOXES STORED BEHIND THE BAR.

The wedding function was spoilt because the decor lady they recommended put the bridal table in the wrong place with guests also seated at the table and some people having their backs to the guests.
The barmen and the champagne I asked for was not available.
I was the mother of the bride but was walking around taking orders while my son-in-law was looking for champagne.
Food and desert was dished up from out buffet and taken elsewhere - double profit??
Three glasses of water was spilt over 2 ladies and they were left to perch on the corner of the wet chairs.
One of the staff dished up her desert and sat behind the bar eating. She was also seen to lick the desert spoon.
There was a delay serving tea/coffee supposedly due to power cut. Guests had already left by the time these orders were brought through and left on tables. We were charged for this.
We all struggled to get liquid refreshment but plates were whisked away before we could have seconds.
