This is the worst experience I've ever had at any motor dealership, PERIOD!! Yesterday I went to have a look at a 2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO. Upon arrival there was no salesperson on the floor, the salesperson from CMH GWM next door had to find someone to assist me from one of the offices. I first had a look at the manual Mahindra XUV 3XO and it had a towing hook laying on the floor on the passengers side, that's not a good look for a brand new car - also the back seats were folded flat (the car just didn't present well). After that I had a look at the auto version and that car was full of dust on the outside, it looked like they had driven a dirt road. I wanted to get a quote on my car for a trade-in. I have a 2019 Hyundai Grand i-10 1.0 Motion Manual with full service history and 52 000 km on the clock. My car was parked outside so the salesperson asked if he could pull the car on the showroom floor to get inspected, so I gave him the go ahead. When I went onto the showroom floor the so-called "inspector" showed the salesperson something on my car's front headlight and they were laughing. Then the guy doing the inspection started smoking a vape while he walked around the car and touched every small mark on the car (it's not a brand new car, only small marks and scratches most of which can easily be polished out). He then continued to look at the service booklet and then took a photo or scanned the car's license disc. He then told me the car shows that it's a 2014 model. We bought the car brand new from Hyundai Hillcrest in 2019 and the service booklet clearly shows the first registration date as 2019. After that he called a young Indian guy (it looks like he's in his 20's) and this guy felt the front bumper of the car and told me that the car has been resprayed. I was fuming, it's a one owner car bought brand new and we never had any work done on it - if he checked the *****s and clips he would have seen that it's never been loosened. Before doing the quotation the salesperson asked me if the car had any work done on it and I said no and had to sign for it. So this guy basically argued with me and called me a **** or indirectly took a shot at Hyundai Hillcrest for selling me a brand new car that was resprayed. After the inspection was done I waited a few minutes for the salesperson to come back because he disappeared in the process. He said he'll be in touch and till now I've heard nothing from him. While I was there he also told me that I shouldn't put a deposit down on the car then I'll get a better interest rate because the higher the price, the lower the interest rate (what a bunch of #). I received a sms from CMH Pinetown Multifranchise to accept the terms and conditions of the trade-in, which I obviously declined because it says there was cosmetic work done on the body and paint of the car. There was not even one professional person I met at CMH Mahindra Pinetown, I can't even imagine what their service centre will be like. I would encourage anyone looking for a Mahindra to go to any other Mahindra dealership or go for a different brand all together. They really deserve zero stars, such a posh showroom floor let down by horrific customer service and no management in sight. What a way to chase away customers...

Absolutely horrible, rude and unhelpful service from Mahindra Pinetown (specifically Johan & Lalitha). So much for "great value/great service" Issue with the diff & door light on a 2025 Mahindra S6. Sent the bakkie for a service at Mahindra Pinetown which took 2 days. Bakkie returned with the diff still making a noise and leaking oil. Johan advised that as we did not explain to the technician what was wrong with the diff it was not repaired. The technician was advised at the time that there was a noise coming from the diff, we are not mechanics to know what the fault was. Johan advised that the technician will not waste his time looking for a fault. We have multiple vehicles from various dealerships (BMW, FORD, HYUNDAI, TOYOTA) and never once received such poor substandard service. Johan was extremely difficult, rude and hostile - when I told him it was clear that he was not interested in helping and perhaps we should not being doing business with that Mahindra - he responded "that's fine". No apology. No customer service. No professionalism.

The worst customer service ever & the workshop don't seem to know what they are doing. We purchased a brand new Mahindra Scorpio Karoo 4x2 Double Cab a year ago & have had endless problems. The rear brakes have been making a noise since day one & after being in the workshop numerous times, it is still not sorted out. At 12000km the engine had to be replaced. These are only 2 of the more serious problems experienced with ZERO sympathy from the Pinetown dealership or Mahindra SA. We will never recommend Mahindra or the Pinetown dealership!

Mrs A B Kwela purchased a Mahindra Bolero in March 2022. From day 1 there were problems with the car refusing to start, this happened intermittently. There Is a water leak on the thermostat, plus there is an oil leak on the gearbox. The gearbox leak was reported on the 30 000km service. They changed the gearbox seal however on the 50 000 km service it was found to be leaking again. We approached the Motor Industry Ombudsman who said there was no problem. However after the Ombudsman;s reply the vehicle broke down again and was towed to Umgeni Road Kempster Ford who stripped the wiring and sorted out the starting problem at a cost of over R1 000.00. Mahindra was not interested in helping financially. On the 4th December the vehicle went in for it's 50 000km service and the gearbox was found to have another oil leak. Mahindra removed it and said it had been sent to the engineer for checking. To date all Mr Dlamini is told is that the gearbox has not come back yet and they have no idea when it will be returned with the report. In the meantime Mr Dlamini runs his own business and cannot work without the vehicle. Mahindra say they have no courtesy vehicle. This is in spite of us tellling them of his situation they just don't seem to care. The registration no is ND826 007.

Dont ever buy a Mahindra!!!! The worst decision i ever made, was to buy a mahindra XUV300. I bought the car in November 2019. Its a very beautiful car, but little did i know the amount of stress i will end up with. It started off with the boot not being able to open, then on a fatal day the car just switched off. Couldn't start again, windows couldnt open or close. My husband had to phone a tow truck to pick the vehicle up. We came to know that its a part that they have to order from India and in the meantime i had to wait until forever. In February 2020 thats when the car was taken from me. I had no joy with this car from day one. I only had it for 2 months. Mahindra kept the car for 8 months, and i just had to keep paying for this miserable car. Eventually i got the car back after 8 months of waiting for it. In October 2021 it was raining very heavy that day and i could literally feel the rain drops on my feet. I phoned Mahindra Pinetown, arranged for them to see what the problem was, they did absolutely nothing because the problem continued. Then in December 2021 my bright lights just went on and off continuously as i was driving, causing alot of stress for me on the road at night. Then later in the same month, my wipers stopped working. This is one frustrating car. I never got to enjoy it, yet i have to pay so much every month. I got tired of Pinetown, booked the car in with Mahindra Umhlanga on 10 January 2022, they stripped the car and realized that there was a leak which interfered with the electronics. Now how safe is this car! Anything could have happened to me while driving. I was told they will keep the car indefinitely until the issue is sorted out. In the meantime, no courtesy vehicle for me. Bare in mind I use this car for work. This is so inconvenient. I hate this car, i am frustrated with it and dont want it anymore!!!! It is just really unfair for me to keep paying for a vehicle that i hardly used. For a 2019 model, my kilometers should have been way over 30k km's, i haven't even reached that, because my car is a constant boarder at Mahindra. Even now, im not sure when i will get the car back, since i was told indefinitely

I drive a 2017 S10 D/C Mahindra. It had knocking noise on the suspension as well as a noise on the climate control. I took it to CMH Mahindra Pinetown for service and mentioned it. When receiving the vehicle back, I enquired about my complaint and was told, not to worry, it has been sorted without charge. A bracket on the intercooler broke (not a warranty item) and again, not to worry sir, we will fix it at no charge. This is service above and beyond. FYI, I have been working in the motor industry for the past 30 years and have a good idea of what should be "free of charge" and what not. Thanks CMH Mahindra
