Mahindra West Rand (Baic) has the worst customer service that you could ever get from a company. Serviced my Baic on Sept 2023, my service advisor was Bonnomey De Beer, explained to her how was I was assisted last time and promised to give me fair service of which she did 10/10. During the car being serviced, I have explained that there so funny sound on the exhaust, after the car was serviced she confirmed to me that the part has been ordered and she will notify me when it is available. I have been sending follow ups emails and De Beer is simply ignoring me, is it because I am driving a small car with NW and I am unfortunately I am not falling within the desired status, maybe. However I am not taking my car there to be serviced for Mahala, I am paying, then what is the issue, is it the fact that Baic West Rand does not invest on their Staff to treat All Customers fairly, is it because certain customers with certain status are being given preference maybe. Bonnomey De Beer, I really thought you are different but I was wrong, why are you ignoring my emails as I need to know if the parts are available so that my car can be serviced, I do not need any favour or to be treated differently, just a fair service that I am paying for, because excellent service is for certain customers, please reply and keep your clients on the loop though out t the stages. Thank you Andrew

What can I say? During or about January/February 2022 my XUV600 was taken to Mahindra for the gearbox (on 46 000km), it had to go in twice, because the first time they only "attempted" to repair the broken gearbox. Thereafter the gearbox had to be replaced. My vehicle was with them for approximately 8 weeks. We had to keep on following up with them, as they did not keep us up to date. On 02 July 2023, my vehicle's turbo blew (on 120 000km). Once again I am without a vehicle. A new turbo was installed and I was advised that before they return the vehicle back to me, that they will first flush the engine to ensure there are no carbon shavings found and they also needed to check the engine to see if anything else was damaged. When I got the vehicle back, it was smoking heavily, there was a knocking noise in the engine when accelerating and the vehicle was under powered at times. When my husband brought this up with the workshop manager, he told my husband that there was oil left in the exhaust and it would burn away as we drive the vehicle. The noise that we heard was also caused by the oil in the exhaust system causing the engine to pre-ignite, hence the noise. The workshop manager explained further that this issue would also correct itself once the oil has burnt away. He asked my husband to check the oil level each morning before we start the vehicle. About 2 weeks later nothing changed. We returned the vehicle and was advised that the injectors were damaged, whereafter my vehicle was booked in again. So, in other words, they did not flush the engine or check the engine for any other damage. Of course it was necessary to order the parts from overseas. When the injectors arrived and after it was installed, a few days later, my husband received a phone call and was advised that the injectors are faulty and that this was taken up with head office. In all this, we have been phoning to obtain updates, sometimes leaving messages, which have been unanswered. I have now been without my vehicle for 3 months! We have not received any further communication regarding the way forward on how this situation will be remedied. I contacted the workshop and the person I was supposed to speak with, was not available and I left a message for him to contact me. When I received no call back, I on 22 September 2023, sent an email demanded that someone contact me with a resolution to this issue. It is now 28 September 2023 and I have yet to receive a phone call... This is the worst experience, as I am loaning a vehicle. I cannot loan this vehicle indefinitely, or one day when my vehicle will be repaired and returned back to me. This is now becoming ridiculous!

I Traded in my car in 2022 November for a pre-owned car. The car had bad braking system from the day they handed it over to me, to my surprise the car passed from Dekra same day. I took it back for service of which i only drove the car for less than 5days. To this day i haven't received the car back from the dealership. Experience with the DP is very bad.

An absolute disgrace in there service. There sales department brilliant but when it comes to there service dept, as always, I always battle. Don't return calls or claim never received the messages. Not sure why Clinton is still working there. Love my Mahindra, but yes, the rest , no good. Will not recommend my worst anamy to them.

If it were not so frustrating, it would be quite funny. Searched for a new Scorpio without success for a while, then Mahindra West Rand suddenly could provide. This they did on time. No carpets for the vehicle, they would let me know when they had some. The speedometer did not work, returned to the workshop, sorted in a minute. Of course the carpets..., never received despite more promises. Then on a trip to the coast the speedometer stopped working again. On return took it to MWR, told me the sensor needed to be replaced. None in stock, they would order and let me know. A month later I get a 'courtesy' call, how was the service? On being told I had no service, I get the same story - will order and let me know. This time I did get a response within two days, bring the car in on Monday. Monday noon I get a message the car just needs to be washed. At 16:00 I get a call, speedo still does not work, can I bring the vehicle in on Thursday? Will let me know when I can collect the car. Silence. Tuesday morning I phone, get told service department does not receive calls before 09:00! Finally speak to someone, he will have to find out. He does later return my call, yes will send a driver to fetch me. About 13:00 driver arrives. Now Thursday, I phone (09:15) to find out if the right part has arrived. "Don't know will check and call back". I phone again at 10:00, "still looking". It is now nearly 11:00, still nothing. Maybe next week will be better, but I am not holding my breath. Pity they don't respond.

I bought my brand new 2021 mahindra kuv 100 k6+ from mahindra west rand( i had no problems ) I took it for its firts service(3000 km) i got the car back and they told me everything was fine. When i opened the hood, i noticed that the engine cover was missing. I called and asked if the engine cover was still in the workshop, they told me no. I then talked to clinton and he said that he wil find out for me. I send a picture to petro who sold the car to me( she never replied back) the car went for its 10000 km service, and i asked them again what is going to happen about my engine cover. They told me again they wil find out( but nothing happend).its almost 3 month later, i called them again today to ask about my cover. The one said that he told the other one, but the other one does not know about anything. She told me that alin wil call me. So i resieved the phone call from alin, and he tells me that the car never came out with a engine cover. So i googled the model and saw that ist got the cover on. I also called mahindra in brits to confirm that my model has the cover and he said yes it comes stock sandard with the engine cover on. So i called alin back, ( his story changed)Then he tried to tel me that they discontinued the engin cover on my model and that is why mine does not have it on. But i know i received a new car with a engine cover on. PATHETIC i want answers?

I Obakeng Kenneth Shuping have bought a car Mahindra XUV 300 at Mahindra West Rand the car is only six months now with 22 000 kilometers on the clock and the car was towed in to Mahindra with a clutch problem the car is still under warranty but Mahindra are refusing to fix the car. They are giving me a run around and severe stress and depression by fixing it myself and pay them 33 000 from my own pocket. I totally disagree as this is not the first car that I am driving. I am asking Hello Peter to intervene and Mahindra West Rand to give me customer care and fix my car as is still new

Mahindra West Rand has the worst customer service that you could ever get from a company. I even gave the them a fair chance to rectify the problem on Friday, and the CEO, Deon Basson undertook to get back to me on Monday regarding my faulty vehicle. It is now Wednesday and he did not even phone me nor left a message. They are clearly incapable of acceptable customer service levels. I bought a brand new Mahindra Bolero 2.5TD which is giving diesel fuel supply problems since 5000Km for the last 15000Km. The seem to be incapable of solving the problem and I am left stranded for 2-3 weeks at a time every time I bring the vehicle in for repairs or a service. I am now fed up with their incompetence and will take the matter now to the media!!!!
