Love For Maths
Master Maths Boksburg has helped me improve my marks in just a few months and has brought back my love for the subject. The staff are really accommodating to my schedule and I really appreciate the overall enthusiasm and support

Would definitely recommend
Master math is an amazing way of o improve math skills I went from a low 20% to a 70% average in just a few months the staff is absolutely amazing and passionate about the learners success it is and amazing opportunity to be part of master math

Bad customer service
Greenstone branch, I was supposed to take my twins today for evaluation or whatever they call, as at first I enquirer at the Edenvale branch, the lady was very friendly after I dropped the call she sent me the confirmation on WhatsApp including the address, on the day of the appointment she sent me another message prior just to confirm, so she suggested greenstone cause I work in Longmeadow and is more convenient for me, I spoke to Thabo he said since it’s the weekend he will send me the details for us to meet today @ 15:30, since then there has been no communication even the address he promised to send I have not received it and I can’t just rock up there if the appointment was not confirmed. I think customers should come first as he kept emphasizing the fact that is a long weekend blah blah. So disappointed as i was looking forward to taking the kids so they can be assisted. Poor service, maybe I should stick to the other branch just for better service.

Favoritism At Master Maths Midrand
The Master Maths tutors have favorite students whom they only give homework to on a daily and if your child is not their favorite student, he/she won't get homework and will always have to ask for it. This other day a fellow student at Master Maths approached me and was like "you don't get homework bro, why is that?" and I didn't know how to answer him cause I don't choose to be their favorite student💔

Master Science in Newton Park Sucks!!!
We signed my daughter up for Science in the Newton Park Branch of Master Science and the sales pitch did not match the experience. After 2 lessons we decided this was not going to work out as my daughter was crating after both sessions, so we cancelled. The person running the franchise (the Tutor) told us he would chat to the owner as he didn't think it fair that we should pay the extra month cancellation as we had only has 2 lessons and it was not what we expected or how we understood the system to work. A couple weeks later he called to say they expected us to pay for that month and the next month because we signed the agreement with 1 months notice and that he was the person who had made the decision. So what happened to I don't think you should pay the months cancellation. At this point I asked to speak to the owner or franchisor. He refused to let me chat to them. After a couple calls and me not paying the account we have now been serviced with a letter of demand. It is 2 weeks into the cancellation month. Yes, the contract as per them is actually still active. Wow, business must be so tough for them that they are trying to force us to pay for a service that was oversold and underdeliver. This was the reply I got from the lawyers after sending them a long polite email outlining the events as we understood them to be and asking them to send into the owner etc. "Good day Sir Your email on even date bears refers. Kindly be advised that we have strict instructions from our client and a letter of demand has been dispatched. Should you not adhere to the terms of the letter, the necessary steps will follow. We trust that the above mentioned is in order." I WOULD THINK TWICE ABOUT SIGNING WITH MASTER SCIENCE. MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE SERVICE YOU ARE GETTING.

Don't do it!
My daughter was enrolled for 2 years and her marks went down. After changing tutors her marks went from 64 to 85 percent. Be warned this is not a tutoring service! At master maths you are put infront of a computer and forced to work on your own. I found the staff to be rude and whenever my wife or I complained they made it seem as if we where the problem. I found the lack of professionalism to be absolutely astounding. The staff smoke openly while supervising the pupils and the remarks made and the manner of treatment towards the cleaning staff and students were really unacceptable. I was also quite upset at what I heard from my daughter about the way in which the staff gossiped about the other students and openly mocked them. If you take one thing away from this review it should be that both you and your wallet will regret it. Don't use this service! You will be putting your child aswell as yourself through alot of unecessary stress. If you are looking for a tutor ask your child's teacher or the local Facebook group. Don't go to this company where your child is just a number and a paycheck. Go local because Local is Lekker.
