THE CONCERN WAS REPORTED ONLY TO HEAR THAT THE COMPANY IS IN LIQUIDATION / ADMINISTRATION AND THAT THEY HAVE NOONE TO ASSIST WITH A WARRANTY CLAIM. Good day I have been a customer with this shop, after I bought my bed ,just within 3 years it got so bad that we can't sleep. I bought my bed in 3 rivers only only to find the shop is closed. I lost my slip but I asked the company In vanderbjilpark to check their records and they didn't they say they lost them! I am disappointed that as I customer you can't get assistance when you have bought something and they can't even go to their records so that I claim from the warranty and pay the difference. This shop when you speak to the assistants on call they even speak with attitude, I request a Quality Assurance to be done so that they can be heard.

I bought a diamond dream queen size bed in November 2018 the bed sagged on the edge and in the middle. I contacted Sasolburg medi mattress on 3 April 2023 and again 12 April 2023 with the assurance that I will get a date on which the manufacturer will come , but still have not received a date.

Worst after sale service!!! Steer clear. I have been trying for 2 years to get a new bed for my son! The bed was said to be made for 150kg and up but for some odd reason the mattress is leaking gel of one of the gel pockets is damaged but they simply don't believe me. My bed is sent away no for a full test and investigation and I didn't even receive a sponge "loan" mattress that fit the bed. It's a Queen and the bed is a double. The base is also I believe not the Gelissimo base I have because no that the mattress is off and we are still making use of the base the base doesn't seem to be handling the weight so well.

We bought a mattress from Mattress Medi Sasolburg some years ago. Quite impressed also with the 20yr warranty (but don't let that fool you - there is no warranty/guarantee). The mattress started to sag in the sleeping area and after inspection by Mattress Medi, they confirmed that the foam needs replacing. I had to pay R1300 to have this done. After a few excuses for not being able to pick it up, it was collected on 25 Oct 22, to be taken to the factory for the work to be done. I was quite impressed that the mattress was returned again the afternoon, BUT there is no marked improvement on the sleeping area. On follow-up on what work had been done, I was told that they overhauled the whole mattress - well I cannot see what had been done! Also requesting to get detail of work done from Jo-Anne (Sasolburg branch), she just ignored me. Interesting that on the "Tax CR/note" it was written "Complaint" for R1300. So please do not report defects on your current Mattress Medi product - they will charge you R1300 for complaining about it! I am still waiting for feed-back - not even a factory report on work done. CONCLUSION: PLEASE AVOID MATRESS MEDI when looking for a mattress. The sale will be smooth, but after sales service = Nil!

We have bought a new bed on the 30/09/3021 @ medi mattress Vanderbijlpark, there was kind lady working there Amanda she was very helpfull, we forgot to take out our slip for the bakkie and that weekend the bakkie was send to the car wash soo the slip is gone. After 3 months it was in December my bed started making squiking noice and it be became uncomfortable to sleep on it, but i realized that i have left my slip in our bakkie before it went to the car wash that weekend after buying the the mattresse, but then i miracle i saw Amanda again in February she explained to me that she was no longer working at medi mattress i explained to her that the bed is making a squiking sound and that we are currently sleeping very uncomfortable, she told me that if i contact the shop and explained them my situation they will help me maybe they would have if you were still working for them thank Amanda for the great service, and soo i did on 16/03/2022 after 4 months of very uncomfortable sleep i though that it would be end of our tiredness nights but then.... Deidre explain to me that they won't be able to assist me without the slip. So i just throw R6000 into the drain cause there is NO system in place in the event of losing your slip. Bad really Bad they didn't even try to help not even reprint me a slip i gave the exect date of which i have bought the bed i gave them my details don't they have a delivery book to atleast pretend to be helpful. Never again medi mattress

On 27 August 2019 I bought a Queen size Orto Spine Mattress from Mattress Medi Centre Riversquare Three Rivers Vereeniging. The saleman Daniel was very helpfull and gave us advise on suitable mattresses that will cater for our needs and weight and we decided on his advise on the above said mattress. This mattress have a 20 year guarantee. In April 2021 we started experiencing discomfort with the said mattress as it was sagging in the one side. We regularly rotate the mattress as indicated on the guarantee certificate but the sagging continued. We reported the problem to Lynette at Mattress Medi Centre and she arranged that the mattress will be picked up and send to the factory for inspection. On 3 May 2021 the mattress was collected and the same day it was dropped off again. As we were away from home till July nobody slept or used the mattress. On my return I have received the report issued by Optimum Bedding, the manufacturer of the mattress. In the report they state that: 1. Indentations could be felt on the side. 2. No factory fault could be found, 3. The indentations are body impressions and then a long explanation on why and how body impressions occur. 4. "Please ask the customer to refrain from sitting on the side of the bed for prolonged periods of time." My questions on what is a prolonged period is not answered till today. We need to sit on the side of the bed to get into the bed and to get out of the bed. We had never sat for longer than two minutes on the side. 5."Please ask the customer to utilize the entire surface of the bed to ensure even setting". We are utilizing the entire surface but if you sleep you sleep in one position for 90 % of the night. Me on my side and my wife on the other side. 6. "Please have the customer rotate this mattress" Rotating is done more than the requirements what else must we do? We followed their recommendations as above but the sagging on the one side continued and on 18 November 2021, after a visit by family and they complained about the discomfort of the sagging on the one side, I reported the problem again to Deidre at Mattress Medi Centre in Van der Bijlpark, as the Three Rivers branch was closed down, and to the Area Manager Danie On 24 November 2021 the mattress was picked up again and returned the same day with the same comments in the report from the factory Optimum Bedding. That same night we experienced experienced the same problem with the sagging on the same side. I phoned Deidre and Danie again the next day and the promised that they will get back to me. On 26 November 2021 I received a message from Deidre that they will collect the mattress once again on 30 November 2021 and that the Owner of Mattress Medi Centre called John will be personally at the factory to investigate. The same day the mattress was delivered again and once again the same remarks as above were repeated. They only added that the mattress was serviced. We tried again to have patience and to see if there was improvement but to no avail. Since 30 November 2021 nor John, Danie or Deidre contacted us to find out if the problem was solved. The mattress still sag on the one side causing very much inconvenience during the night. We rotate the mattress and try to follow instructions but to no avail. I can clearly not recommend this ORTO SPINE MATTRESS manufactured by Optimum Bedding to any one and I can also not recommend the service of Mattress Medi Centre in this regard as they do not communicate properly on complaints and follow up on satisfaction by the customer. My question that they do not answer "why only the one side?" We rotate the mattress regularly

I'm so disappointed with the quality and service I've received from the Secunda Branch. My queen extra length bed squeaks horribly and the quality is not what I thought I was buying. The branch won't assist me because I don't have an invoice as I've moved, yet it's okay for them not to have a copy of the invoice because they have moved. I paid the bed in full and am prepared to offer a bank statement which they don't want to accept. They're not prepared to assist me in anyway. I'm not asking for a new bed or refund, I just want the bed to be as solid and noise free as a bed should be. It's sad and pathetic that in these current times, service and quality are so shoddy. I have a Serta bed as well as two Cloud Nines purchased elsewhere still in excellent condition. So much for Spine Ortho Care.
