My mother a (79years old pensioner) was stopped by a representative of this company and who asked her to show her bank card, when she did he scanned it and just gave her papers that she had no interest in signing and was told to go hold and read through the papers after a week or two she will receive a call back to discuss further details of what this is about. Only to find that her details were process for a service she has no clue of, to my surprise when I went to yesterday her pension funds were less than normal called the company I came across a rude consultant who bluntly adviced that they don't do refunds, I called back again now a lady hung up and all we want is my mother's R285 refunded

If there was ZERO i would have selected that because that is all this company deserves, BIG ****MER of note. Do not enter into anything with them. Their number is 021 422 1457. They ****med my uncle an amount of R510,00 debited the account in September 2025. This is ***** and people are falling victim for this. I spoke to a Precious Magidigidi who did not seem interested and was rather unprofessional, with a stinking attitude because i told her she must cancel this immediately. This is not the write way to run a business, by robbing people and taking advantage of the elderly, especially in the BLACK COMMUNITY. I will be taking this further with the relevant bodies.

Medic Now is a **** company. I was recently a victim of Medic Now deceptive tactics. I was approached by street promoters of Medic Now in Durban town. I specifically told the agent that I am unemployed and cannot afford the health cover that they are offering. He said that He will only check to see if I qualify for the cover plan. I was reluctant from the get to, the agents are very persistent and pushy. He asks for my bank card to see the CVC number, I was reluctant but He said it was to see if I have enough credit. I give Him, which was the worst mistake. This is the first step that they are tricking People into the Debit order, the other is the Signature which they trick out of a Person. I was in a rush from the beginning and the agent pulls out some documents, He says He needs a signature to confirm that I have done a check of qualification. I leave and this agent still has the nerve to ask Me for R5, which I gave because these people play with Your emotions. They are manipulative and I will admit that I should have used my Discernment but this doesn't change the fact they are ****ming people, this was on April 9, 2025. The Debit order of R225 went off on the 25th of April. On the Capitec app, the debit cannot be disputed nor stopped. I had to go into a branch to stop this *****ulent debit order, but the money is gone forever. It may not be a lot to most people but that R225 is money for food... As for the Medic Now customer services... I tried calling them so many times and it either leaves You on hold or a **** automated message tells You that Your balance is insufficient when it is not. They have to be stopped.

Bunch of ******, ****mers, *****sters! On 2 May 2024 i came out of Capitec and met with an agent by the name of Tebogo employee number: REFSM9528. He was promoting this comapany and some Legal cover he basically forced me to hear him out and so he ask me to take out my card checking the cv number and swipes my card asks me to put pin then i said no why, he told me its too see if i qualify for the cover, its also to get a gift like a t-shirt and powerbank and that someone will give me a call with regards to the gift and also to get his commission to show proof that he did advertise the product to me. He made me swipe about two or three times, i saw some amounts there i told him Hey iam not comfortable with this because iam unemployed and whatever little monies comes to me i need it to buy food stuff. He promised and assured me nothing will go off in my account the cover only becomes active once I click the activation link sent via sms Well i never clicked no activation link and now guess what monies did go off from my bank account and i disputed this that i didn't sign up for anything they said i activated this cover by swiping and putting the pin on the speedpoint so in the mean time i was actually authorising a debit order. This company now refuses to reverse or give back my money and the consaltant couldn't care coz he obviously got his commission.

I was approached one day by young people marketing this supposed company called Medic now and told me since I am a Capitec bank account holder that I qualify for a Pick n Pay voucher, they swiped my card in the machine and gave a slip confusing me and telling me I am going to receive a certain amount of voucher. I called thier contact number the same day to explain to the lady I did not agree to join anything and she should cancel if they bring anything to her. So one day they debited an amount I did not agree to or authorise and I couldn't reverse it or stop the debit order. a Capitec consultant advised me to call Medic now and tell them to cancel and refund my money, the lady on the phone was cold and told me I did authorize it when it was swiped through the machine,so she cannot refund me the money but she can cancel it. This company preys on vunerable people to ****** them.

So after a sales pitch in Promenade Mall an agent "404" sells to me a contract that will only be debited after I telephonically agree with medicnow that I accept. Today I am out of pocket the fees as my account was debited and I am still waiting for my finalization phone call. Is this how you do business? Medicnow also tells me they will not refund me at all. Then their agent slams the telephone in my ear.... Next complaint will have names if I am not assisted proactively.

On the 17 March 2023 I was approached Medicnow marketing staff. I was told that I was a winner of an umbrella and a T-shirt for being a loyal customer of Capitec Bank. I was asked to verify my acc no and asked to enter my pin. I saw the figures of 225 on the handheld card machine and asked what it was. I was told that is my bonus points collected so far on my account. I asked why is the amount the same as the premium fee for Medicnow and the reply was again bonus points. I went immediately to Capitec and discovered that I signed for a debit order. This is fraud and extortion. I phoned their office to complain and spoke to a Bagetta? And she told me that she will cancel the debit order. I reported this to the SAPS and hopefully this company will be charged with fraud.
