I am extremely disappointed with the poor service and lack of communication from MidCity Utilities. I am based at Hornbill Crest, Unit 42. In December 2025, I received a statement reflecting outstanding arrears that were never properly explained, despite my previous statement showing my account was fully up to date. Concerned about these unexplained charges, I contacted MidCity for assistance. I initially spoke to an employee named Riccardo, who promised to investigate my query and get back to me, but he never followed up. After that, I made multiple calls and sent several emails trying to get clarity, but with no success and no proper assistance. I later called again and spoke to a lady named Boitumelo, who was the only person willing to assist. She took my details, followed up, and provided a clear explanation of the charges. I sincerely appreciate her help and professionalism. However, I am now receiving SMS notifications stating that my services will be disconnected. This is extremely concerning, especially after finally receiving clarification on my account. This level of service, poor communication, and inconsistent handling of customer queries is unacceptable. It genuinely feels like there is a lack of care for clients.

Good day I bought Electricity for 400 rand and received no units. I already paid the R2500 recovery and i dont owe anything. Please explain why i did not receive my units and was charged an Amount when i bought Units. Need an explanation You cant treat those who pay similar to those who owe Please correct Princeton park phase 4 number 35

In this day and age of AI, computers, and high-tech systems and gadgets, it is unbelievable that there are still companies, like MidCity, who are unable to send the correct monthly invoice to their customers. The result is that MidCity customers have to check and verify each monthly invoice they receive. In other words: Do the job MidCity is supposed to do. Really? What is the point of having a Managing Agent that is incapable of doing what they are paid to do? You tell me!

Midcity Utilities customer service is not responsive. It has been a week of sending a query without a response. The query is related to Account payment and POP has been provided. Showing such an attitude to those paying and paying on time shows lack of respect for their business and customers
