Let me just start by saying: We have had problems with MidCity from day one, administrative errors, wrong charges and many others - NO ONE AT MIDCITY IS willing or able to help!!! Even calling them leads to hours of being send from pillar to post... BUT - THERE IS ONE EMPLOYEE THAT DESERVES TO ACTUALLY RUN THE ENTIRE MIDCITY COMPANY!! HIS NAME IS THABISO NGOEPE, HE IS FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP AND HAVE HELPED US ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS! THAPISO, YOU ARE AMAZING! THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE AND YOUR WILLINGNESS TO ALWAYS HELP! MIDCITY SHOULD PROMOTE YOU TO TOP MANAGEMENT AND GIVE YOU A MASSIVE SALARY RAISE!!!

Midcity Utilities customer service is not responsive. It has been a week of sending a query without a response. The query is related to Account payment and POP has been provided. Showing such an attitude to those paying and paying on time shows lack of respect for their business and customers

Terrible customer service. Got home after work at night and my power had been turned off without communication. When I called customer support, the guy working kept dismissing me saying I should call someone else tomorrow morning. I explained that I hadn’t received any communication or bills from them and that my groceries would go bad if I waited that long. The person helping me couldn’t care less. I had to force him to send me the banking details so I could pay immediately, without even seeing a bill. Your customer service team is atrocious, I mean why work the night shift emergency line when you don’t want to help people! All the guy had to say was “please check your spam folder” but the idiot chose to argue with me and ultimately dismiss me. Do better man!!!

*1/5 stars - Horrible service from Mid-City Utilities 😡* I'm still waiting for my deposit and leftover electricity money from Mid-City Utilities since their contract ended in November last year. NO communication, NO updates, NOTHING! 🤯 Multiple calls and requests have gone unanswered. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend.

I am very disappointed with the service. I have been over charged for 3 months in a row. I wrote an email complaining about the charges and no one responded to my email. How can a family of adult and 2 kids pay R2500.00 for water usage. This is nonsense. Please rectify the reading. I am not always home. It's been 3 months and I paid almost R5000 for water. Water should be the cheapest commodity of all time. I called last month you said there might be a leak, we checked, there's nothing. I am going to take this up with ombudsman. I can't not be reaped like this. Water cannot be expensive more than electricity.....no ways.
