I requested a quotation on some items and they never came back to me with a quote. The only update they gave me was that they are waiting on ETA's Seems like they don't want to do business.

Honestly, probably one of the best music-related gear stores in South Africa. The sales consultants are SUPER friendly, and actually helpful/knowledgable about their inventory. They are always super quick to respond to any email/chat query (through their website), and actually follow up if they say they will (sadly quite the achievement these days for most companies). Ordered from them a few times, and all times were flawless and super efficient. All in all, would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Since Mitech opened a few years ago I have been a customer with them, driving about 30km every time I need a pair or 2 of drum sticks. Their drum guru was always very friendly and always assisted with some discount as well whenever I purchased there. But the last few years have been extremely dissapointing. Every time I try to phone them there is no answer. Today I tried to visit them (for the first time since they moved) and as the Google search result told me they were open until 5pm, and there is no mention on their website as to what their trading hours are, I went there. When I got there, the gates were closed and it seemed they were not open. This is not great customer service at all. I would expect them to at least have their trading hours on their website, and not make me drive 30km just to show up to a closed gate. Not good at all. Very dissapointed

Since Mitech opened a few years ago I have been a customer with them, driving about 30km every time I need a pair or 2 of drum sticks. I have been a customer of Mitech direct for a few years now, enjoying purchasing guitars, pedals and accessories from a store with great service. Today I went in with a simple request to check if I was able to have my acoustic guitar's pick up restored or replaced. AAThis has been something that I have requested for before at this store. Simple enough request you may think? As a paying customer I do not, and should not know what are steps and procedures the store takes in getting this request fulfilled. All I know is that I am taking my guitar to a store that specializes in musical instruments, to check if my guitar can be fixed at a charge I am willing to pay. However this was not the case when dealing with a lady by the name of Robyn when arriving at the store. I was met with a rude attitude in being told I need to contact an external person in Benoni to have this resolved as she or the store cannot do it. Furthermore, she said that the person I would call would come pick up the guitar from the store after calling him. This seems pointlessly ridiculous as it means I need to go back home,call this guy in Benoni and then come back to the store to drop the guitar off. As this was something I have had fixed at the store before, I was confused as to why I was being referred to benoni to sort this out. But what bothered me most was not the fact that I was being told by a music instrument store that they would "not do a good enough job" to quote Robyn's own words, but her attitude in being completely unwilling to help at all. She continually insisted in a completely rude manner that this is the only way to sort the guitar out. Being part of a service industry myself, I would never refer a client who walked in to my doors to an external source. All in all I will ever visit a store who does not know what they are doing and boasts about the fact that they do not do a good job in their work.

<p>Malcolm Haefner Director of Audio Note a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitech Direct refuses to make good with me, his former employee. I worked for the not so charming Mr Haefner for less then 6 months, resigned and worked my one weeks notice as per the labour law in our country.</p> <p> I originally agreed to work two weeks notice, but circumstances unfortunately did not avail me to do so. Malcolm has now refused to pay my last salary for the days I have worked and has stated that he has done me a favour.....?</p> <p>After numerous requests Malcolm still refuses to pay me for my days worked and leave owed. </p>

<p>I just want to say thank you for the great customer service I received from Mitech. I hope the managing department will see this review and credit the staff. I was looking for some spare parts for a guitar I built and the sales lady (not sure what her name is) was busy with another customer but, she did come to my aid quickly, helped me with n great product and gave me super awesome advice. It was my first time visiting that shop and I have been a fan ever since. I also enquired on Facebook for a quote on some drumkits and Calvin Strapp helped me with a really nice quote, and he assisted me on Facebook as well. Great customer service! They will be seeing me again and I will keep recomending the shop to my students and fellow muso's. Keep it up Mitech team!!!</p>

I made a query on the Mitech Direct online chat and Aiden Morris went the extra mile to make sure that I got the goods on time. From finding my order sitting in the backend of the system, to getting me the tracking number as promised. He and anyone involved at Mitech Direct must know that they will have made a 16-year-old a very happy young man. Awesome service.</p>
