Mpowa finance is running a ****. From friday they sent me a debit order mandate to accept, until today the money is not in my account. Their call centre the calls are not going through, they are also not responding to any emails. I will not be liable to pay for a loan that I never received.

MPOWA IS RUNNING A **** I HAVE AN ACTIVE DEBI CHECK ON MY ACCOUNT BUT THE FUNDS WERE NOT CREDITED INTO MY ACCOUNT. THIS IS ***** ON ANOTHER LEVEL!!! IT’S BEEN 4 DAYA ANS THEY JUST KEEP SENDING MESSAGES FOR ME TO APPROVE THE DEBI CHECK BUT IT IS ACTIVE!!!! I WILL ALSO LOG THIS AS AML AND ESCALATE AS A MONEY LAUNDERING INCIDENT.

Service is very poor!! they dont respond to calls or emails or sms. They sign contracts with you take your documents , do a debi check on your account to lock payment back from the client . BUT YOU DONT GET PAID OUT THE LOAN 5 days later still nothing from them yet my contact is signed and the debid order is loaded on my bank account. THIS IS *****

I have settled my account today after being told I was in arrears when in fact I wasn't, they then debited my account with an extra instalment. my loan is settled and they owe me a full month payment back. Phone calls just get cut off and email is not rep**** to. Its a terrible company and feels like I have been de*****ed.

I am so disappointed I settled my account early and now it's saying I'm in arrears ....my brother past away yesterday and I need money to burry him now I can't make a loan so much for settling my loan early ....worst of all customer care is just not getting back to me .they just ask for proof of payment iv send it four times now ...very disappointed

Mpowa sent me an email for a second loan. I accepted the offer. They usually approve the application quick.. They are now taking 20 MILLION YEARS to approve it!!! I sent them an email to CANCEL THE APPLICATION!!!!

The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Their call center agents don’t know what is going on. Their Managers are in compantente , and keep on telling you lies with no feedback, even ended up at the COO of the company full of promises. I settled my loan with them on the 02/01/2026, and they cant update my credit profiles and to get hold of any manager in the company is near impossible.
