I had such amazing service from One call Locksmith! One quick call and not 10 minutes later a hero locksmith arrived and solved the problem and replaced the lock. Amazing, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend them for your locksmith needs!

Horrible experience with One Call Locksmith. I was OVERCHARGED for a service that simply took 30 minutes. I had locked my house keys in the house. When they arrived they advised that they cannot open my Trally door and suggested finding a way to open the kitchen window. They charged me R1700 for opening the window. This is absolute daylight *******! Definitely wouldn’t recommend them. Vincent Malan didn’t even want to negotiate the price and insisted I pay the full amount of R2000 immediately. This person clearly took advantage of the situation.

I phoned this morning to get assistance with getting a key out of a locked car. They stated that the call out fee was R295, which I thought was not bad. Af the guy worked for about 5 minutes using a wire and a small pressure plate inflater, her charged me R2245 for getting the key out. We have phoned to enquire about why this was the price, and whybit was not given before hand, but we are not getting any answers. This is an absolute *******. It would have been cheaper to break the window. I will never recommend or support them again.

Called these guys to help inlock my car because I accidentally locked my key in the boot. The guy took less that 10 min to unlock the car and charged me R2500 plus the call out fee of R295. I asked multiple times for the price before I was helped. But kept saying the locksmith will need to asses based on difficulty. It ridiculous these guys are getting away with this. And then only tells you the cost after he unlocks the car. This is BS ! Avoid at all cost. It would have been cheaper to bust out my window at this point.

Quoted R295 for a call out. Basic lock. Key broke. Asked for a quote before and locksmith said that he cannot give price until the job is done. He charged R2500 for replacing a basic lock. His invoice states: HIGH SECURITY LOCK. I queried it and he discounted his fee to R2000. The entire job took 15 minutes. This is a *******. They catch people by quoting a low call-out fee.

Quick to respond with their R295 call out fee, guy arrives very quickly, less than 60seconds pulls the broken lock out with a plier and immediately says that will cost R2100(no new lock, door left with a lock gap), the job and cost wasn’t discussed prior, felt like absolute *******. He wouldn’t leave our premises until payment is done. Number that the locksmith was booked through takes no responsibility saying they are only the call centre and don’t invoice but they were quick to say they charge a R295 call out fee to begin with. Always know how much they will charge you before they come out to you.

Stay clear of this company - one small folding door lock removed and replaced with a new one. Work done in around 30 minutes and bill was R4,170!!!!! Googled this lock afterwards and only cost around R200 from Yale. They charged me R295 for call out + R1,975 for removing the lock + R1,150 for a new lock and R750 labour TOTAL *******!!!! - I have registered complaints with owner and business with no reply's... so have registered with SA Ombudsman and the Consumer Council of South Africa. This is pure profiteering and their Website is just lies...
