Parreirihna moves and grooves in Melrose Arch
This fantastic restaurant with fabulous hosts recently moved from La Rochelle where a huge change in population from Portuguese to mainly West African to Melrose Arch. Thankfully the ambience ,fami**** staff together with sustained excellence in food and presentation retains the vibe of this super restaurant

Disgusting service and food
Should be rated zero stars. Service us pathetic waiter is rude and unhelpful, he suggested we eat day old bread which he will microwave. We ordered starter giblets which came to the table after 45mins it was boiled with no taste or spice, we complained to the manager/owner who assured us our mains will be better as we wanted to cancel our order. The chicken was bleeding it was uncooked, prawns as well undercooked. We paid a bill of R1400 to a restaurant that serves the most disgusting food. Upon leaving the manager/owner says thank you with so much sarcasm. Absolutely disgusting establishment for such an elite area like melrose arch

Horrible experience
Food was tasteless and not worth the price paid. Service is terrible and food takes a ridiculous amount of time to be served. No one checks up if everything is fine and you have to ask multiple times for your food

Parreirinha Illovo !!!
I recently ordered again from Parreirinha Illovo and got the most horrible food. The fries were burnt, the food was overly salty and oily I could not understand. It was definately not worth the price I couldn't even eat it all. Very disappointed as most the issues I have I overlook from food being too salty or too oily this one was all three and I couldn't.

Parreirinha Illovo !!!
I recently ordered again from Parreirinha Illovo and got the most horrible food. The fries were burnt, the food was overly salty and oily I could not understand. It was definately not worth the price I couldn't even eat it all. Very disappointed as most the issues I have I overlook from food being too salty or too oily this one was all three and I couldn't.

Delicious!
How can you not just love this restaurant?! Definitely does not deserve less than 4 stars. The food Is amazing! My go-to has to be the chicken chips and rice. It is so tasty, so filling and really such value for money. This restaurant offers really budget-friendly meals and honestly, I could eat from here every single day. Give it a visit!

How can you not just love this restaurant?! Definitely does not deserve less than 4 stars. The food Is amazing! My go-to has to be the chicken chips and rice. It is so tasty, so filling and really such value for money. This restaurant offers really budget-friendly meals and honestly, I could eat from here every single day. Give it a visit!

Parreirinha Restaurante Bad Service & Food
A total let done and disappointment lunch experience after so many years of supporting this family restaurant in Rosettenville. We have been patrons since they start collecting business ties in the 1990's. Not only was the food disappointing but also the attitude of the owner, or one of the owners Jose. My wife and I wanted to enjoy a nice Portuguese lunch today. We ordered a medium rump espatada and a full peri peri chicken. The espatada my wife ordered was over well done and dry and we returned the food - only to be replaced by a very sinewy rump espatada. My full chicken was very dry, to the extent that we requested to speak to the owner (Jose?) I suggested that he taste the chicken, to determine the validity of my complaint. Unfortunately he refused, and explained that his chicken supplier had a problem with the size of the chickens he delivered. The complaint was not about the size of the chicken but about the quality and dryness of the chicken. Jose was irritated with me complaining and walked away. Not the response we expected from a owner of a well established Portuguese restaurant boasting on their website of good cuisine and friendly eatery. Perhaps their business is thriving and our valid complaint about the quality does not really matter if they loose seasoned customers. Not much left of the good food and warm atmosphere we used to experience. We settled the full bill and left.

I ordered a full chicken meal from Parreirinha Rapido in Rosettenville via the UberEats app , delivery was professional but the order was terrible, the full chicken meal was like the size of a pegion it was dry and not enough for my family as was with past orders , not satisfied at all complete waste of money

BAD FOOD QUALITY!!
Always order takeaways for company and personal, have been to the reataurant in Johannesburg nut never have I received a prego roll from any testautant or takeaway olace that looked like this.
