paycity.co.za
Based on recent customer reviews, paycity.co.za faces significant customer dissatisfaction across nearly every service dimension. Customers consistently report being sent notifications for fines already paid, fines for vehicles they do not own, and encounters with unresponsive support channels. While a small segment of users praise the platform's convenience for making payments, the overwhelming pattern is one of broken processes, poor communication, and eroded trust. Trust, Reliability & Ethics (0.9) and Communication & Responsiveness (1.1) are critical weaknesses.

Paycity keeps on sending me notifications of an invalid traffic fine. I have on many occasions report them on hellopeter; however, they simply reply with a standardized message. They refuse to remove the fine from their system referring me to RTMC and Fines SA - the fines does not even reflect on their system.

I have been receiving SMS notifications from PayCity stating that I have outstanding traffic fines, which have already been paid. I previously contacted PayCity support and was advised to ignore the messages. However, today I received another SMS indicating that I have been blocked from renewing my licence disc. This situation is concerning and could potentially place me at risk. Kindly investigate and resolve this matter as soon as possible.

When did Government outsource the collection of traffic fines on their behalf, I received an SMS from this paycity.co.za stating that i would be required to attend court, however they failed to show the summons obtained from the jurisdiction in which the alleged offence.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding Fine Number E21/86830/070/173751, which is currently recorded on your system. I dispute the validity of this fine as there is no supporting evidence provided to substantiate the alleged speeding offence. The notice does not include photographic proof, speed measurement details, location verification, or any documented confirmation of the alleged speed limit that was exceeded. In the absence of such evidence, the fine appears to be unsubstantiated and improperly issued. I therefore request: Full disclosure of all supporting evidence relating to this alleged offence, including certified photographic proof and calibration details of the speed measuring device used. Confirmation of the exact location, applicable speed limit, and recorded speed. Immediate withdrawal of the fine should sufficient evidence not be available. Until credible evidence is provided, I cannot accept liability for this alleged infringement. Kindly treat this matter as urgent and provide written feedback within a reasonable timeframe.

Lately they send out email saying that the Natis has been blocked due to an infringement. I checked. I have no outstanding fines, no infringements. Yet, these ****bags try to stay alive by threatening the public. I am reporting them to the traffic department, ICASA.

These are a bunch of Opportunists robbing the public. Received an e-mail that I got a R200 fine and need to pay asap. When I logged into the system it showed that I must pay R214 instead of R 200. Imagine if R14 is ****** from each offender what the total will add up to in a year. Their statement “you may qualify for50% discount” is bull**** it never happens. In most cases notification of fines are sent late which makes it impossible to qualify for 50% discount due to their poor administration. I tried to pay twice with my card but their system used to do payments is not working but, when late payments are made due their systems that are not working, penalties are allocated to the public. They threaten the public to pay but, refuse to or is not able to provide proof of the so-called offense/s.
