Porto fish and chips Arcadia branch staff is very rude and disrespectful, they get your orders wrong and when you tell them they have attitude and very comfortable in disrespecting you. I sent an email and the Owner by the name Grace responded to acknowledge receipt and promised to investigate and I have sent her two emails to follow up but she hasn’t responded. I see why the staff there had that attitude because they knew that nothing will happen to them. They sell nice food but the staff is rude.

I had a very bad service from porto in Acardia during my lunch time today. I will never ever go buy there. I was there to buy the usual meal, two cans of cold drink and the snacks. So I was holding everything by my hands so one can of coldrink fell and had a crack so I decided to go and exchange and get another one then I proceeded to pay and as I was paying the guy that stands at the door approached me and said I should also pay for the cracked can as well cause I am the one that dropped it then I told him I didn't drop it intentionally and since I am still in the shop I can exchange it and get another one. I then ask to speak to the manager, the manager came and she also said I must pay for the damaged one. Then I didn't agree with her then she told me she wont sell me the other items I bought. Imagine I had to leave a store empty handed. What I am furious about is the security guy(he saw starring at me the whole time) , he saw that I am holding many things with my hands and I kept on dropping things, instead of bringing the basket, he was waiting for me to make a mistake.Please train your staff. What they did to me is not good for the business.

Porto's flame grilled chicken and chips prospecton Durban ******* service. Sandile, akashnee do not even bother about calling customers back. Twice orders were messed up no accountability. Pathetic

The Porto Fish and Chips branch in LADYSMITH is running a ****ming syndicate. I had placed an order over the phone for some fish and chips, and had asked what my balance would be. The lady assisting me on the phone said that she wasn’t too sure what the amount would be. Because I am a regular at Porto I knew that the things I had ordered wouldn’t cost me more than R250. Firstly the lady that was delivering my order was so rude, she had a disgusting attitude. I decided to ignore that because I had received my order. She then proceeded to tell me that the amount I had to pay was R320. I asked her how this was possible and she said that she doesn’t know, the person that had wrote the balance was the cashier. She was only there to deliver my food. I paid her and she left. I decided to calculate the amount written on both slips and it was not adding up to the money that I had just paid her. The money that I was meant to pay initially was R242. I decided to go back to the store and ask how them how they reached the R320 balance. On my way there I bumped into the delivery lady. I told her that I gave her more money than I was supposed to pay. She realized that I had caught on to her that she was trying to make a quick buck out of me. I told her that I was going to the store to ask them what was going on. She pulled me to the side and begged me not to go to the shop. She would give me all the money that was due to me. I told her no I want to go to store personally and find out how this whole mess had happened. She then told me that I would get her into trouble with her bosses. At that point I was so angry and just wanted to go get my money and go back to the office to enjoy my meal. I got to the store and spoke to the cashier. The cashier was so nonchalant about my whole experience. It was there were I realised that the cashier was in on it too. The deliver lady found me talking to the cashier. She was still rude as hell, didn’t even bother to apologize. I got back what was due to me but the money was still short. I decided to take the money and head back to the office. I got to the office and called the manager at Porto because at that point I was just fed up. I explained to her what had just happened to me. As I was talking to her on the phone she dropped the call. I tried calling again and my calls were not going through. I don’t know if the manager is in on this too or what. That honestly was a huge red flag for me. I highly suggest that when buying from Porto just go to the store personally so this doesn’t happen to you. I was so disappointed with this whole ordeal because I am a regular at Porto.

On the 19th of November 2023 i sent a friend of mine to Porto's Fish and Chip's Volkskrust to buy 5 packs of cheese Russians. Was charged an amount of R1235,55 for 5 packs of Russians which was double the price, I have called the store on numerous occasions to try and rectify the matter. The store manager Barend admitted that I was overcharged and promised to sort it out. Initially he requested that I send someone, and he will give them the refund. During December 2023 I sent a family member to collect refund and was told by Barend that I should submit banking details and he will transfer the difference to my account. Nothing has transpired since with Barend promising to refund R50 per pack which was way below the price of my refund. I have been struggling ever since to get my refund. I then started dealing with another manager by the name of Johan who also made promises and to date no payment was received. The last promise was that the transfer will be done on Sunday the 7th of January 2023.To date no refund was received. I have sent numerous what's app to the company and they keep on making false promises. Porto's Volkskrust is robbing innocent South Africans who do not check prices and are overcharged by these people. Please be careful as Porto's Volkskrust is ****ming people. Be careful!!!!!!!

The arrogance and the tone the staff has. I asked if i could pay while preparing the other. The tone they used to tell me to go and sit down was shocking
