Placed an order on 15/12. Items included Christmas gifts & were to be delivered by 20th Dec. 3 of the 4 items were delivered within a few days but the main item has still not been delivered yet by 28th Dec. Thank you Makro / Dovecot Trading for ruining Christmas!!!
I have 2 routers on my Rain profile and was provided with 2 free Rain sim cards per router. One of the sim cards was assigned before the second router was added and has been in use and topped-up as required. Now that everyone I deal with has this number, I am now unable to top-up as this sim card and one other has disappeared from my profile. I have called RainGo for assistance several times and have had promises that this issue has been escalated on 2 occasions now. I receive email notifications from Rain with a reference number and "Help is on the way" note and that seems to be where the support ends! EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING and possibly will lead to my changing provider.
Uber need to put controls in place to stop drivers accepting ride calls a long way from where they are & then cancelling because they are too far (probably when they pick up a closer call). There are several areas VERY CLOSE to me where uber drivers regularly park to wait for rides and when you enter a pick up location the app indicates that there are drivers within a few minutes of the pick-up destination. Once you book the ride however, the time changes to many multiples of the initial time indicated. After about half of the NOW WAY LONGER waiting time, drivers cancel or request that you cancel as they are "too far away"! Every attempt at booking an Uber lately has resulted in no ride after over half an hour of waiting, cancellations and frustration with totally inaccurate ride time information reflecting and drivers who pick up rides that others closer should get and cancel without consideration to the customer's time wasted. So unreliable and dishonest!!!
I have paid my TV licence every year, for many years, without fail. This was always paid on the SABC portal without issue until December 2022 when I paid but was unable to download the licence. I queried this with no response and in June 2023 I started receiving messages & calls from Hahn collections chasing an outstanding TV licence payment. After my Dec 2023 payment, this amount was then added to the collection amount and the debt collector harassment continued. I have emailed and called SABC & Hahn collections more times than i can count and have provided all information requested including payment details, bank card details, etc. I have received statements showing the amount allocated and then the same amount is removed. I have been promised "escalation" of the issue but still, almost a year later this is not resolved. There are millions of residents in South Africa who do not even consider paying a TV licence yet those of us that do deal with this unnecessary harassment!!
Standard Bank - Dealing with Standard Bank Business Banking (or trying to) is a constant frustration. To the point that I am ready to change banks!!! Nothing is ever simple or set up the way one requests it and then trying to reach someone to deal with it or get answers is literally impossible! I received an email notifying me of our new Enterprise Team. The number given for our relationship Banker belongs to someone else working at Standard Bank. The number they passed on is not answered. The number for our Portfolio analyst goes to voicemail. Emails and messages are not answered. Calls to call centres cannot address the issue. Calls to the branch result in 10 minute hold and then cut off. How is a business supposed to operate under these conditions??? Totally unacceptable!!!

Worst online shopping experience EVER! Placed and paid for an order only to receive 1 of 5 items almost a month later. Still fighting weeks later to get my promised refund for 4 items (they cannot understand that they must refund me for the 5th and now only offer a store credit when I will NEVER order from them again. Crookery at it's best!
We paid upfront for work to be done. The provider had many excuses for not completing the work. After advising that the job was too small and he was too busy, we are now battling to get the refund with him ignoring calls, deleting emails unread and failing to refund as promised when he is reached.
Gerhardt installed security fencing around a small area at the business I work for. He was paid in advance for further work and has been difficult to reach since. 4 months and many excuses and lies later, he advised he would refund the money as the job was too small and he was too busy. A further month of avoided calls, excuses when reached and failed promises of refund, we are still waiting.
We took on a Rain 4G package some time ago. This worked fairly well for the first few months but was definitely being throttled towards month end despite being "uncapped". We upgraded to 5G and once again this was great for just a few months. The service is now unworkable and affecting my ability to work! I guess the ratings here show the true picture. Difficult to reach. Should rather be marked as a NON_SERVICE PROVIDER!!
