Paystack has an online onboarding approval process (ID, bank statement, proof of residence, etc. — all extremely sensitive information) which I passed 100%. However, instead of approving me, their staff personally overrode the automated approval and refused to complete it. Instead, they sent me an email buried among the rest of their unsolicited spam — emails I never agreed to receive. By pure chance I saw it. In that email, they suddenly demanded a website in order to approve my account, claiming it was part of their onboarding process. If it is part of onboarding, why is it NOT in the actual online onboarding system? This is clearly a blatant lie and the most ridiculous requirement I have ever seen. You are a financial service — my website is none of your business. They have already seen my ID and know that I am a white male, and based on my experience, they are now acting in a ****** and discriminatory manner — dodging and deflecting the approval process for that reason, even after I supp**** this pointless information twice.

The level of GREEED and INCOMPETANCE that this company exhibits is sickening. After calling them the made it VERY CLEAR that they simply don't care enough to issue you with a plastic card that would cost them no more than a couple of cents to me, a member that pays them over R2300 a month, because as per the operators words "i don't pay them enough money for them to provide me with this service" Clearly as someone who pays them R2300 p/m is seen as absolute bottom feeding trash to this company! THIS IS DISCRIMINATION - YOU DISGUST ME DISCOVERY! What these greedy imbeciles don't factor in, is what happens if I'm in an accident where i cannot unlock my phone and anyone trying to help me cant unlock my phone either because it LOCKED behind a password. WHAT now discovery!? I have NEVER been told i need to pay a company R50 for me to COLLECT my product at their warehouse, but somehow Takealot think this new little trick is somehow "appropriate". Apparently, them doing their jobs and bringing you product from their warehouse to the counters (all of no more than 20m, is worth R50 now! As i wanted the product on the same day, i paid them R50 this time, bit will never again. Reason being, is not only is this a complete rip off, but when i pay R50 for me to drive 30min TO YOUR to FETCH my product and another 30mins back, id expect that R50 to make my order priority, pushing it to the top of the queue, especially that i ordered it at 9:30AM. I expected it to be ready for collection within an hour, at MOST 2 hours, making it ready for collection by 11am in my mind, seeing that Checkers is able to package 30 items AND DELIVER it to my door within 60mins, yet 5 HOURS later, the people at Takealot don't even have my order ready for collection! SO WHAT THE FK AM I PAYING YOU R50 FOR!!!!! How can Checkers deliver me 30 items within 60mins and you cant even package one item for ME TO COLLECT in 5 HOURS! ITS BEYOND PATHETIC! As this is now on a Friday, end of month, traffic kicks in around 2:30, i am NOT getting in a car and sitting in traffic for 2 HOURS to pick up something I AM PAYING YOU TO COLLECT!!!! So i then call them to get a refund on this R50, i am still waiting on my call back. TAKEALOT, YOUR SEVEICE IS BEYOND USELESS! I WANT MY R50 BACK BECUASE YOU DELIVERED NO SERVICE FOR IT AND THUS YOU ARE STEALING IT FROM ME!
