weeks. Still no repairs Second complaint for Ooba. No responses. Lack of service. 'Tornado' damage reported on 27 November 2024. Roofing is non existent on our granny flat. Outside room, garage, sheep's pen and half our main house with broken windows boarded up. Severe water damage. They only sent a contractor out after a week of us calling and emailing. Contractor then took 1 week to submit his report. Apparently claim too large now we are waiting again for an assessor. We have had another 3 storms with one right now. Been taking videos of each storm for evidence. We are also expecting severe rain this week and still no assessor in sight. Going to cost insurance even more money

Put in a geyser claim over a week ago. Sent all that they asked for. Can't get through to someone with a brain on the phone. Now they ask me for the same documentation that I sent a week ago. Useless OOBA3923794
We bid on a vehicle on auction but unfortunately due to work commitments we were unable to view as the NP200 in good condition is a hot commodity. My finance was approved and I immediately got a mail to sign an OTP within 48 hours or I lost the deal. We were only able to go to Webuycars a couple days later on the weekend. Once we saw the vehicle. Which was listed as GOLD there were significant damages that were not evident on the photos on the auction. And Ronnie, the salesman when he drove it in also agreed that the clutch 'felt funny'. So we looked at some other NP200's and ask Ronnie to cancel the deal. Now Webuycars will not cancel or refund me my R4000 deposit. I have since found another NP200 at another dealer and need the R4000. This is unacceptable. Surely it is the buyers right to cancel the deal if and when she sees fit.

I am at my wits end, please assist Here is a timeline of my issue: Got an sms that I could upgrade my account approx. 1 month before contract end date - waiting for 1.5 hours for an agent to assist at the store Was told that MTN no longer do early upgrades and that I must go back at the end of June Went back at the end of June and they had no stock of the 5G routers At the end of that month my debit order went from R781.90 to R1 584.00 as it had now moved to a month to month - I cant afford that jump At the store I was told to cancel the current deal and come in on the 27th of July to upgrade the contract for a better deal I went in, and now they cannot give me the same 1TB because my address is not recognised as a 1TB area, but that is what you are billing me for at the moment????????? I now called customer care, spoke to 4 different agents only to be cut off after a 26 minute phone call Losing my mind, have already now cancelled previous contract as per advise from agent in store and now you cant upgrade me??????
Recently got home to find our curved smart tv had a strange black dot and lines started forming above it, no one had been near it. Called Outsurance and a technician called and asked for pics and did not even take the tv for a proper report, immediately said it was damaged by us, which it was not. Tv is insured for R11k so Outsurance did their calculations and said the TV's replacement value is only R8000, less the R2000 for the excess, then deducting another R1000 for the technician who never took the tv. So we will be getting R5000 for a R11k tv. So I then did some research and it seems to be a common problem on the curved TV which has since been discontinued due to the issue, What do I do now? Will be cancelling my other items on the policy now, after 19 years of paying for insurance with Outsurance. Very disappointed

Ooba Building insurance has taken a month to give feedback on our claim, the assessor has been out and we have called several times, only to be put on hold for over 30min until call cuts off, emails also go unanswered, OOBA3923794 The claim number is: 00054474*001*001
Purchased 2 vouchers from Exact in Mall of the South for my boys to use at Totalsport on 9 December 2021, went shopping in January to Mall of the South, Greenstone and the Glen and they had no stock of what I needed for soccer. Decided to buy online only to find out that you need an e-voucher number to do so. Contacted head office to rectify the situation, but they said they cannot help me and I should go back to exact to refund the voucher and get the e-vouchers. At Exact they said we cannot do that and they sourced the items for me on 12 January to be delivered to Mall of the South, 3 items were found in Cape Town, one at East Rand Mall and one at Lakeside Mall. The items from Cape Town arrived this Monday 17 Jan, but they cannot pick up any items coming from the other 2 stores, which are half an our from Mall of the South??????????? I have been running around since January for these goods. This is unacceptable, also cannot get through on the phone lines to Lakeside and East Rand Mall. Vouchers were bought on a Foschini account, ready to return them and spend my money elsewere. Have already been debited on my foschini account for the repayments but not winning with the outlets. Not acceptable, why could they not just exchange the cards for the e-vouchers, what difference does it make.
