I have been admitted to Westville hospital for an emergency on 27 October 2025 Dr A------- requested some tests which was done and handed me over to dr B---------, on the 28 October 2025 doctor requested a CT Lumber biopsy nivolay. From October 28 till now, December 15, 2025, Discovery Medical Aid has not authorized the biopsy. For some codes they are awaiting, Westville Hospital is accusing Discovery Medical, and Discovery is blaming the hospital. I have informed Lancet Labs, who is awaiting authorization, that I will cover the R16,000 that the biopsy cost. I'm still in the hospital awaiting the results. I spoke with someone at Discovery again, whose name I know, and he told me the same bull****; they all point the finger at the case managers but are unwilling or unable to provide their names. Ridicules service received from all 3 institutions involved.
With a 30-minute wait time and no ability to terminate a Wify contract, Telkom is the worst company to deal with. Please be aware they are very quick to sell you a contract, but you cannot even get a cancellation fee. Date 11/12/2024 16:15
DSTV phoned me on 24/10/2024 at 12:50 to upgrade my decoder. When I said no, thank you, the lady slammed the phone down while I was still speaking. They have a lot of arrogant people working for them, which is why I immediately cancelled my DSTV.
I called Discovery Hospital Authorizations on October 14, 2024, and spoke with a Lady named Trizelle. The service I received from her was fantastic, and she was really friendly helpful and professional. People like this give Discovery an excellent name. Please take note that the business I am writing about promotes itself as Home Appliance Repairs in the Pinetown Highway mail. When working with this company, proceed with extreme caution. They have numerous addresses, phone numbers, and Facebook sites. The person who was working on my issue used various telephone numbers. Google Maps indicates that the address he supp**** me, 167 Leister Road Mobeni, is held by an organization called Appliance Specialist. I asked him for the company's registration number before I made a deposit, and he became quite angry.

On the 22nd of August, I sent him another email, but he did not respond. I phoned him twice today 25 August 2023 He WhatsApp me that he was busy consulting and that if I had any questions to send him a WhatsApp which I did. Tonight at 18:00 I looked at his WhatsApp and all the messages were deleted without him getting back to me. Be extremely careful when you join King Price insurance my increase this year 2023 for 2 vehicles increased, Vehicle 1: from R785.21 to R980.61 = 29.25% and 2nd vehicle increased from R353.55 to R511.49 = 22.69% they are both Toyotas. After various phone calls and emails, I was told that the risk assessment calls for such an increase and there is nothing they can do, (Could it be because I am driving a Toyota?) as I had never had any claims at King Price.
Sbenz Construction and Services sent a plumber on the 3rd of April to replace my Geyser that started leaking, according to the plumber the geyser was too big to take out the ceiling and he will install a new geyser on the outside wall. After he made a terrible mess of the installation he proceeded to remove the old geyser from the roof. The only reason I could see was because it was a copper geyser. I told him to leave the old geyser in the roof, but he carried on and then damaged the ceiling, I contacted the owner of Sbenz Construction and Services until Today 17 April he had done nothing to resolve the problems. STAY AWAY FROM THIS USELESS BUSINESS>
