Following up on a UIF Case for someone that hasn't been working for me for more than 12 years. Never has UIF or Medaco picked up a phone to call and find out what the issue is. the employee left as she didn't want to pay the 1% UIF funds. What was I supposed to do. Now I am indebted to them for over R59346.59 as they never followed up in more than 10 years. Is this how institutions catch out people to pay more than they should? This is not right. I have sent email after email, right after receiving the confirmation of them demanding funds. Is this what life has become? A demand left, right & center to scare people in paying for something? without following up. and still no confirmation can be given as to where they called to follow up with me. This is wrong.
Despite hearing me out and despite all the email correspondence received from me regarding an account they are handling, they still send letter of demands. I DO NOT OWE EDUVOS R36576.55 rand. as they dont have the correspondence to back their story up. this is very irritating knowing that an institution that is falsy claiming I owe them money could get away with just sending a lawyers letter. This is abserd. We cancelled and Eduvos never followed up or got back to us. I HAVE ALL MY PROOF OF THE one-sided CORRESPONDENCE.
Wow, how institutions love making money off of people as they don't do their job, they don't follow up on emails or calls and now I am left with a "Final Demand letter' from MacRobert attorneys. And still despite me sending the adequate proof of all the communication I have on hand; they KEEP FORWARDING THE FINAL DEMAND LETTER!!!! I will not pay the almost: R37000.00 they say I owe. I sent emails, I called, I tried cancelling to the best of my ability and still they don't adhere to the emails after emails after emails I've sent. I cancelled the contract with EDUVOS as they **** to us, telling me my daughter can study for her B Ed education, when in fact this was only a Bachelor of Art, NOT A BACHELOR OF EDUCATION. It would have taken longer to complete. When I spoke to Lebogang who was our consultant he never told us this. Now we have a final demand because he didn't relay the message correctly. after numerous emails and calls he just never bothered to return my calls or send emails. It is the institutions policy that if there is no feedback from the consultants within 3days they deem it cancelled. But not in my case. This is a load of nonsense and now i should pay for something I cancelled in May 2023 already. Still, they cannot provide me with emails as to where they contacted me back on my questions asked. still, they cannot provide me with feedback, where they answered my calls and where the request to cancel was declined. this is absurd.
Ackermans is just out to make money and doesn't assist with anything. I have been fighting a losing battle since Feb 2023 to get my profile cleared. Non of their staff on the call centre or in store was helpful. Sending me from pilar to post. Giving me excuses. In store I had to call someone, when I call someone, they say go in store. The level of communication is horrible. But every week, sometimes more than twice a week I would get a non payment message. Regardless if I had a query no one was actively trying to sort out. The store manager @ Alberton City where the account was opened was so, so helpful, compassionate towards my struggle and very efficient but that's where the kindness of Ackermans staff lie. Eventually in September I paid the R1200 which was *****ed on my name as I didn't want a dirty credit report. I paid it as I just gave into the system where they will not help you. I admitted to guilt and paid the debt even though I had every single proof in my hand that this was ***** and not an insurance thing they claimed it was. My concern and question is: is this the level of assistance we receive and do we fall prey to these people and just fall into the 'systems-hands' and always just have to admit that we are wrong even though we aren't or admit that it's our fault even though there is proof. It's shocking to know that there are so many people out there to get you, and we have to pay as we don't want a silly thing as a bad credit report.

I just want to send a shout out to all the amazing & beautiful smiling staff @ the New Market and Lemon Tree center Seattle. the smiles we get on a daily basis is just so comforting and so refreshing. We definitely have the best Seattle working staff on the South rand in Alberton. And believe me, i love myself some fresh Seattle coffee. I've been to a lot of Seattle's but I always get a warm welcome from the beautiful people in Alberton. Love you'll. Z, Dineo, T.. but to mention a few. You make my day!!!! Henry Davids distinguished himself by consistently assisting & submitting exceptional service to our company. Henry expresses exceptional work ethics and has superb communication skills, thus making his work outstanding, definitely a notch above the rest. I recall how I would spend weeks phoning, sending mails (sometimes into the blue yonder) and never having luck. With Henry it's different. He saw my mail, responded within hrs., and sent the required docs. Something I would wait days (sometimes weeks) for. When I informed him everything wasn't sent (or maybe I didn't print everything) he immediately sent new mails containing everything I needed. I put out a new request, aiming for a long shot at getting the specific docs sent to me on a monthly basis and low & behold, this morning in my inbox, a mail from Henry, thank you for your exceptional work and for doing it with ease and absolute pleasure. I appreciate having someone on the other end of the mail, knowing what my requirements are and succeeding in the task. I appreciate it sincerely Henry. I'd rank him as one of the best consultants I have had to deal with, making my task and workflow a breeze. If his performance in our company is a good indication of how he would perform in yours, He would be an asset to your program & company
<p>I purchased my iphone at the Mall of the South Vodacom. took the contract out in November, 2015. The phone is faulty & keeps showing a black screen but from my car-kit i am able to access the contacts & make & receive calls as well as when it reaches 30% battery life it just switches off.... although this is not a Vodacom issue the service i received from the Vodacom in New Market Mall was so poor. Not only did the internal error & non-complience inconvenience me but they didnt even ask to borrow a loan phone or apologised to my satisfaction. This is unacceptable from VODACOM!!!! This is not my fault but the phone or manufacturing of the phone & this sets a bad name not only at vodacom but at ISTORE too as the assistant manager told me he cannot do anything as his staff members didnt follow protocal!!!! My phone went in for a service only to find the FIND MY IPHONE APP wasnt switched off after a consultant looked & "switched it off"..... 8 days later i receive back my phone on ref: ********** 0 with a sticker saying RNR.... RETURNED, NOT REPAIRED..... WHY??? This is unacceptable. so now almost two weeks later i still havent got my phone or a call or nothing & this really annoys me as this is a contract phone & i am so inconvenienced, i cant even call my children at school to see if they are safe at the aftercare. This is so wrong & the remorse shown was so poor. I spend a lot of money on my unlimited contract not to have my phone gone for 2 weeks out of the 4 weeks & still pay for a service i am not using. THIS IS THE IPHONE & I HAVE BEEN INCONVENIENCED & IT IS UNACCEPTABLE. This is not only inconvenienced me but its so frustrating having to borrow my sons phone & buy air time to call. The service i expected obviously has gone into the dumps...... </p> <p>I asked the assist.Manager if i could take it in myself & all he replied was no cos Iphone wants a report from Vodacom.
