Getting ahold of the easy equities RA team is like playing extreme sport. So picture this, I sent an email 2 days ago seing that I am getting no response I then preocced to send a follow up email yesterday we are already on the 3rd day so it means for the email to be a knowledged can take up to 4 or 5 days? Yet there might be waiting time for things to be actioned? What kind of pap service is this? If they are shot staffed they should hire more people and don't subject us to this nonsense, we are not bidding for tenders here, we have our money invested with them they should do better. Worst the numbers they have as call numbers. Don't go through, so what must, can happen?
I think I might have just got ****med by capitec. my name is Njabulo Terrence Hadebe On the 18th of July 2025 at 16:37 I made a cash send voucher to myself of a R1000 as I dont have my bank card with, tried withdrawing it and the capitec auto machine threw and error saying requested notes could not be withdrawn and then me thinking its because the amount is a big amount then I used a smaller amount and made another one of R500 and still had the same issue I then changed pins for both before leaving the atm just to be safe, then went to withdraw on my FNB account thinking I was going to get the cashsends some other time. On sunday the 20th I realised that on the app they have now changed to redeemed for those 2 transactions and mind you I did not send the pins to anyone, upon trying to contact capitec with their in app call feature the call kept on getting dropped then on the 3rd time I took the name of Morine at 01:54 from client care who also dropped my call, also spoke with Thakgalang at 02:07 who also dropped my call, also called in again and spoke to Nombuso at 02:15 who also dropped my call. I then tried using their whatsapp and still it keeps on saying it looks like we are having a bit of a challenge and then I have to start over and did that twice with no assistance. So basically my money is gone, my calls are being dropped, the whatsapp if not working, what happens now? I am sitting with no reference number and I don't even know if this will be resolved but ill definitely not be silent
Try changing an account with ikhokha you will experience the worst service. A lady by the name of Ellellwang Mo***eng is handling my case, she doesn’t call to update me so therefore I have to call and have been following up still I’m lost as to where we are with the process, this is the 5th day into the process. I started this on the 3rd of December and today is the 7th of December and mind you all these days I’ve been wanting to access funds on my account but cannot because people have the power to just log off and go home. On the 6th of December I spoke with 3 different people, I still don’t have anything solid, this is the worst service from anyone who handles money as the days are continuing I am LOSING MONEY!!! they told me not to use the machine while they change the account not sure how they expect me to not make money all these days. Honestly as soon as they pay me out my money I’ll look for alternatives service provider this is not the one I want to deal with. I was promised that the matter MIGHT be resolved on the 9th of December, imagine all of that nonsense.
and old aged pensioner Miss Thoko Doris Mbonambi a 76 year old, my neighbour took a fridge costing R6 999 on credit and her instalment is R540 over 24 months, thats R12 960 in total, this could either be unfair interest or reckless lending and I very much wanna take this case up to NCR we should not allow such things to happen on our watch, this is not ok, The lewis in Kwa Mashu also did this to my grandmother she is late now so clearly we have more cases like these
I am using Afrihost as my internet service provider and I must say, I am not happy with thier service, I am currently out of connection I was told that my line is down not sure why or when it will be resolved and yet I work from home, internet service providers need to understand for some of us if we are out of connection we are losing money and yet they have been payed to provide us with this service. On days when the connection is working the speed is not what they promised and also from time to time it drops and comes up regularly. Capitec put a hold on my account and also sent an instruction to a different bank I was sending the funds to, instructing them to put a hold on that account as well, When I called Capitec to ask them why they put a hold on my account they said the Fraud department thought someone else was using my account to send money and they were trying to protect me, after confirming it was myself sending the funds they they released my account and I thought that now that they knew they were going to send the other bank to remove the hold just like how they instructed them to put a hold on the 1st place but no they did not send those instructions. on the 24th of August I called in to ask capitec to please send the instruction to the other bank I was told they are working on it and proceeded to give me a reference number and I kept on calling to check if the email has been sent to the other bank, Ive had well over 15 calls on this to try get an EMAIL sent to the other bank, today the 20th of September I spoke with a lady by the name of Noma from the fraud department who told me that she has sent and email requesting them to please action this because no email has been sent to the other bank, how does one justify this? why is it quick for them to hold our accounts and yet it takes ages to release them? I do not expect any response from capitec except for one informing me that this has been actioned, I cannot be waiting from the 24th of August today is the 20th of September just for someone to type an email? this is ridiculous.
Decided to finally disconnect my router on the 27th of January 2022 unplugged it and sent a cancellation request on that same day due to extremely poor internet connection with rain and I had really had it, and because the data for January was already used, I was liable to pay the month of January fully, which I did and yet I was still billed for February regardless of the fact that the router was last in use on the 27th of Jan and cancellation request was sent as well, to top it all off I had an angry agent call me telling me that they will not cancel my plan up until I pay the outstanding amount which includes the February bill but I refused because they say its a pay as you use, I'm on the 5G uncapped plan costing me R999.00 a month and it was not in use in October and November 2021 and because of that my bill was set to zero and now all of a sudden It cannot just because I am cancelling due to poor connection?? So Rain is going to provide me with a weak connection and when I want to cancel the month to month plan then they punish me for cancelling?? and still make angry shouting agents to call me trying to force me to pay? I am not going to be bullied, I have emails, images, names, statements and reference numbers to back me.
I bought a fridge in Cash crusaders Woodstock in Capetown on the 30th of November 2020 and as soon as I got home I realized there is a problem with the fridge, I called the store to get them to come and have a look at the fridge as I thought maybe I could not set it up properly in the front keypad, so they sent someone to come and have a look at it beginning of December and the person arrives with no buckets, swaps or mops, makes a mess in my kitchen and tells me he will return in a week, week passed and he did not return, I called the store again and someone else came same story not tools and the guy leaves a mess cool, and I called again last week, mind you I am supposed to be using this fridge, I had to give away some of the food to the homeless as it was gonna go off anyway, so the last guy told me there is a part they have to order and they did not call again, today (12/01/2021) I call the store and guess what the manager has no clue that this is not sorted I could hear her shouting at the person thats supposed to fix the problem and to my surprise she agrees with me in my tantrum tone to bring back the fridge to the store at my cost!! I am soooooo disappointed and hurt after all this headache could they have not at least made this stressful situation a bit better by sending someone to come pick it up or just get it fixed? super disappointed.
