Standard has refused to close my credit card and referred me to thier home affairs department which is private banking. I want to close the account finish and klaar.
Today I phone standard bank to close my credit card but the guy told I must ask my private banker to do that for me. I told him since my previous banker I was never happy with the service hence I am phoning him to close the card . He keep on arguing with me until my battery was dead. So I was unable to close my credit card account and he never came back to or action my request. I told my private banker that I am my way out on my last visit and they make me wait in Eastgate for 30 minutes at tue reception but at the I was told the were not available. I would like to close my credit card account with immediate effect for now . I don’t want to talk with any home affairs official again
I bought a car cash at Toyota Alberton and from start to finish the service was bull…….. I am still waiting for registration license from past two weeks back and Zandy told me she busy with the customer.
I have app**** for the replacement of the card month ago but until today I was not told about my readiness of my card to collect. My card was even compromised in their hand. I wanted to collect my card at discovery number 1
I spoke to Andile Msibi and Thabiso Msimanga . I was told that the notice is loaded . I thought on the settlement amount will be lesser than the outstanding amount but to my surprise the balance moved from R960 000 to R989 000 after we put the notice. Both gentlemen never told me nothing about the process until today, infact the new guy Andile was very belittling when he spoke to me . You can see that he just counting as stats . He returns calls at he time and blame the networks. I think the two gentlemen did not treat me well or they give a home affairs service.
I have been unable to book a car on discovery since April 2025 , tried yesterday and today but with no help. Car booking button is not operational so we can’t book. I want the cheapest car on 28 December 2025 to 2 January 2026 for 10:15 pick and drop off in Capetown. I have already booked the flights through discovery.

I have a locked a claim on the 10 March 2025 for geyser burst but to date I have no response or some to come check my house . That discovery for you. Big mouth no action.
Dear Sir I have told by discovery bank that I am not in good standing so qualify for the money rewards because I am not in good standing. I have been calling discovery the contact number and holding on for minutes without being help since last week.
