How do you get a response from Takealot. Their customer care is non existent. The frustration with this company is unbearable. I will not support them again. Fruugo for me is now the answer. Wayne Sparg.
Takealot are ****mers. I ordered a TV, which was not a smart TV and on the same day I ordered the correct Smart TV. Box was never opened. The advert was misleading in the first place. They rejected my return and refund saying TV was tampered with. What a load of SHi...... I called the centre and they lady told me see would escalate the return. On there instructions they returned the TV to me and told me to say that I ordered the wrong item. I should take it to the warehouse and return it. Which I did. This is the second time, with the reason that they gave me. Today I receive an email to say it is rejected again. They say my reason was Submitted Return Reason: Product does not meet my expectations In this case, the product returned was used. As the TV arrived bubble wrapped I took it to the warehouse. Someone please help me to decide what to do. I feel that there is no hope and that I should go to an Ombudsman. I just cannot stop crying. How can they do this. PRODUCT WAS NEVER EVER OPENED FIRST AND SECOND TIME. I am happy with the TV I bought in its place. I will make sure everyone knows that buying electronics through Takealot is not worth the risk especially now that Christmas is upon us. Next step is facebook to warn customers.

This is the biggest scam you can ever come across. We cancelled contract and after 6 years we get a message to say that we have been handed over to collection for outstanding membership. From the start there were major floors in this travel scam.
Please note that THE COURIER GUY OVERNIGHT service is not overnight!!!!! Delivery is within 48 hours. I requested an overnight parcel, collected Thursday morning, received Monday afternoon. Have sent ABSA numerous email requesting information and answers to my queries and all I get is a case no. Then I get a message case closed without any response. Is there anyone out there reviewing my emails besides a computer. I referred to a case no. enquering why I have not received an answer and get another case no.
Good Morning About 2 weeks ago our email address stopped working, I tried username and password to no avail. Contacted the call centre and they said that our internet had been cancelled. We did have trouble with landline and were told that they would not replace the stolen cable and that we were receiving a wireless router. Even after we received the wireless router there was no internet, hence Telkom said it was cancelled. Why on earth would we cancel our internet. If we did there should be a recording at the call centre which you could follow up on. I was told it was cancelled on Telkom side without my authority. I use my internet for business purposes and after I went to the Hemingsway Telkom they reinstated the internet. After I went into my internet and after it was reactivated there were no emails. Everything is blank folders gone with important emails and no emails in inbox or deleted box. My business is at stake. Please can you re-instate my old emails. This is highly stressful as my business relied on this. Please find a way to get my emails back. Telkom was incompetent and caused this highly stressful situation. Please can you assist after not having a land line and hours of phone calls, we were eventually notified that the stolen cable would not be replaces and huawei lite router would be installed. It worked for a day and then went onto the blink, eventually after taking it to Telkom problem was resolved. But had different operators giving different faults all which were not true until I physically went to Telkom. A week before Telkom had another problem (Cables were once again stolen) I could not log into email address waynejs@telkomsa.net. Land Line 043-7261153. After numerous calls wanting a new password to access our internet and visiting Telkom Hemingsway a lady told us that the email address had been cancelled on there side and would be reinstated. A sms would be sent to my wife cellphone with code or password. Have still not received an sms. Please can you assist with reinstating my email address and issue a new login password. I never cancelled my email address as it is part of my business and have no idea how many customers have tried to email me. I placed a first online order and did not know how the 1st free delivery worked and paid with a delivery charge. Tried to contact Mr Delivery EAST LONDON. Telephone rings three times goes onto a recorder and tells me this mailbox is currently unavailable. Googled contact no. through callupcontact.com and brabys.com gives a cell no. and same contact no. I phoned before. Cell phone no. does not exsist on both websites. How can you promote a business when the website you choose to advertise does have the correct details. I AM so irate at the moment I want to cancel my order.
