Awful after sales support. I've had 3 people dealing with my SSEG leave their company. They cannot even complete a form correctly, and then take 2-3 weeks to respond. God forbid part of my setup went wrong.
1 out of 4 people cannot phone me, at all. They seem to be blocked by MTN. They won't respond to my mails, my calls. The people at the MTN shop can't help me. They refuse to cancel my contract even though this has been happening for a year. Every time I get a blanket: "We are looking into it", then no one responds.
I've been trying to return a cellphone cover that doesn't correctly fit for 16 days. MRRN-Z8DQZ-4G6M. Every 72 hours, after no one looks at it, it gets cancelled and I have to phone to have the return re-created. It's infuriating, and at this point I've spent more money on airtime then the cover.

I did a simply car insurance quotation with Alexander Forbes. They did not follow the general process of asking my permission to obtain my personal information etc, which stuck out as out of ordinary from the beginning. They also did not encrypt my quotation, which felt even more insecure, but I still went forward with a second quote. HOWEVER, the second quote sent to me was from a different person with ALL of their personal information, directly breaking the POPI act. I'm awaiting feedback, but I want all of my personal information deleted from their system, as I feel like it is just a matter of time before someone malicious gets hold of my information through them.
I have had a multitude of issues so far. 1. I decided to go with Fredd as there was already an installation where I moved in. I was promised no installation fees, and that it would all be setup prior to the 1st of December. This was not done. It took 4 visits from as many technicians just to turn on the CTC box. On top of this, 2 months later I'm being charged a R1750 installation fee. 2. I had an internet connection for about 1/5 of my first 2 weeks with them, with the line continuously dropping. 3. Finally, after having a relatively stable line, this week my line has been dropping every 2 to 5 minutes. If this wasn't bad enough, I've spent hours on the phone just to have an ambiguous ticket created, without even receiving a reference via email, as requested. I've spent my life waiting to get off of Telkom, and to be honest, right now they seem like the better option. I've never had worse service.
