Capital debt solutions/Remedy debt PTY LTD. A consultant by the Name of Ayanda called me and registered me for debt review even though I told her not to. She told me she was calling on behalf of NRC and that they noticed I’m being charged too much interest, so she is going to assist with that. They provided false information, saying that there was an institution that was billing me high interest rates. I further, and continuously asked if it was a debt review and they constantly denied that it was. I have tried contacting them, but my calls, emails and WhatsApp messages have not been answered since the month of March 2024. The company name is Capital Debt Solutions powered by the Remedy Debt PTY LTD. And the Lady called Amanda was laughing and talking to other people while she was supposed to talk to me, and telling me the call is recorded, and lucky my Calls are also recorded. After the call I receive and SMS stating that i gave consent to this company to request a credit report for Affordability Assessment, i DID NOT give ANY consent. Please explain to me what this call was about.
Dear Debt Busters Team, I am writing to express my deep frustration regarding the ongoing issue with the debt review flag on my credit record—a matter that has remained unresolved for over five years despite repeated assurances from your team. In 2016/2017, I entrusted Debt Busters with my debt counseling process. On January 14, 2021, I received an email from paidup@debtbusters.co.za, along with a clearance certificate confirming that my outstanding debts had been settled. This email stated that the necessary information had been shared with credit bureaus, credit providers, and other relevant parties, including TransUnion. Yet, despite your claims, the debt review flag was not removed from my credit record. On May 11, 2023, after contacting ITC National ITC Consulting, I was informed that they had never received the necessary documentation from your side to update my credit record. Further attempts to resolve this issue resulted in no meaningful progress—only vague responses and suggestions to contact various credit bureaus myself, despite this clearly being your responsibility. Additionally, I was asked to pay R3,000 to update my information, which I find completely unacceptable given that this issue stems from your failure to act. Moving forward to 2024 and 2025, despite persistent follow-ups and emails, I continued to receive the same answers from your team—that the information had been sent and the issue lay with the credit bureaus. However, upon contacting these bureaus, they consistently confirmed that they had received no communication or documentation from Debt Busters. This has resulted in me, as the client, spending an exhaustive amount of time trying to rectify an issue that should have been resolved long ago. Most recently, on March 24, 2025, I contacted TransUnion yet again, only for them to inform me that they had just received the instruction to remove the debt review flag on that day from Kendra Nielsen at NCR—more than four years after the initial clearance certificate was issued. This situation is completely unacceptable. Despite numerous reassurances from your team, it is clear that critical steps were not taken to ensure the proper communication and removal of the debt review flag. I trusted Debt Busters to handle this process, and instead, I have been left to bear the consequences of your oversight. I demand an explanation as to how this failure occurred and what steps will be taken to ensure that the issue is fully resolved. Furthermore, I expect someone to take accountability for the repeated failures and lack of follow-up over the years. This level of service is disgraceful, and I am deeply disappointed in your handling of this matter. Please respond promptly to address this issue and provide a clear path forward.

Adding insult to injury, Kendra Nielsen made a remark in her recent communication stating: “Attached is proof that TransUnion received the clearance certificate and should have removed the flag in 2021 – I am unsure whether you have been flagged for all this time with TransUnion? If not, it is strange that they have flagged you after so many years.” Frankly, I find this statement unacceptable. Over the years, I have sent several emails, made countless phone calls, and taken all necessary steps to ensure my clearance certificate was acted upon. Suggesting that it is “strange” that my status remains unchanged not only disregards my continuous efforts but is also highly inappropriate. It is now 2025, and I am exhausted from going back and forth between debt counsellors, the NCR, and credit bureaus. This matter was supposed to be resolved automatically in 2021. It is absolutely unacceptable for me, as a consumer, to shoulder the burden of resolving what is clearly a failure on the part of the relevant parties to act promptly and responsibly. This is the 3rd final demand I am getting, 1x on the 27th 1x on the 29th 1x on the 30th And each time you send out a final demand you add your R253 onto my account. I made the payment for Aug on the 25th, the consultant I spoke to today told me they only received the payment of R1764 TODAY, so is it my fault that your systems only update 5 DAYS after I make payments? Is it my fault that my employer is only paying me on the 25th and you demand your money on the 15th or 17th of each month? Now you want to come and send out final demands EVERYDAY and add your fee to it aswell whereas I made the payment that was due. This is not acceptable, I will not be held responsible for these final demand letter fees, I will only pay what is due in Sep and that is R1784. Please make sure you correct this and make sure you stop sending me final demands because I make payment, might be late but I make my payments. I want this corrected on my statement and a new statement to be issued, if not I will take this further
