I have been a member at Virgin active for more than ten years and today I was so shocked and disappointed. I work in Midrand and get home around 7 o clock. This is when I am able to go to the gym. After my workout I like to use the sauna for a few minutes (this is one of the main reasons why I have chosen Virgin active as no other gym offer the sauna option). Tonight at 08h30 I was chased away by one of the staff members, and when I asked about why she said. She wants to go home. This to me was extremely rude and humiliating in some way. Nowhere does it say that the sauna shuts off at this time. Please let me know if this is the case. After tonight I am considering another gym. I don't even want to go back as I have mentioned I feel humiliated. This was Virgin active Vanderbijlpark branch.
I got a voucher for my birthday from my dad. When I tried to use it, it gave me the message that the voucher has already been used. Not the first time this has happened. It happened to a family member of mine. Turns out takealot staff members use the vouchers and now when cannot get it refunded. Takealot is not being helpful at all. Unacceptable. Please don't fall into the same trap. Don't support them!!!
I upgraded my contract in May, Vodacom has not automatically deducted my debit for some reason, like they have done for years and now I am behind on payments without even knowing about it. They were also supposed to phone me to come and collect my smart watch that was part of the deal a week after my upgrade, which they have not done.
Vodacom refuses to cancel my expired contract. Everytime I phone to cancel, I get transfered to numerous people and I just end up being bul**** into keeping the contract. I now have to keep on paying for a contract I dont even own anymore
Do not respond to messages, does not answer phones. Internet is off more than it is on, but yet they take our money
I submitted my 2pot claim manually because the app and the website does not even allow me to login, after submitting I did not even receive confirmation of my claim being submitted. I sent numerous emails requesting feedback with absolutely NO RESPONSE. Why anybody still choose Alexander forbes is beyond me!!!!!!
In July there was a mess up with my debit order. Virgin active contacted me and I agreed for them to please take the full debit (mine and my kids). VA decided to only take the debit for my kids membership (2 and 6 years, which obviously wont be using the club without me), so now, the full Aug debit went off, but I am still not able to use the gym. Just a way for VA to take money from me in a way that I can in no way benefit from. I have requested the recording where I agreed for them to take the full debit, and they refuse to send it to me. And now you wonder why I prefer planet fitness. At least they dont ***** my money
I moved my homeloan over to SA homeloans in November 2023 and still to this day Standard bank has not removed this from the credit bereaus. It has been a struggle for months and is causing a huge amount of problems for me
What a mistake deciding to bank with FNB. Dont make the same mistake I did. I currently have more than 5 open complaints (about the same issue). All off them end with, we will follow up and get back to you and then I never hear from them again. Unacceptable service.
After numerous attemps, even providing FNB with a statement from Standard bank indicating a zero balance on my homeloan and providing FNB with a printout of my experian credit report, still you refuse to remove the previous homeloan from my name. How is it that you could remove it from my husbands name, but not from mine. This makes NO sense.
