On Monday, 17 November 2025, I used Uber for a ride to work. I paid the trip in cash to the driver. On Saturday, 22 November 2025, I received an email from Uber stating that the cash was never paid and I would have the full cash amount of R205 deducted from my account when next I use Uber. I rep**** detailing the issue and received a reply this morning that because I reported more than 3 days after the trip, I have no recourse. I rep**** that I only received the email 5 days after the trip. The response from Uber was a R34 refund and case closed with no further communication possible. I am furious!!
Good morning! I needed to remove my vehicle from my insurance because it has been sold. The lady who assisted me was friendly, helpful and even called me back to save my airtime. The vehicle was removed immediately and I will pay less on my next instalment. Quick, friendly, efficient and cost effective!

I have order and paid for items required for my business to function during load shedding . There has been no delivery and I am unable to get anyone to respond to my email enquiries or WhatsApp enquiries. There is no contact number available. This leads me to believe that this company is a money making ****. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! Even their email address is ****!
Last night we hosted a Matric Farewell event for a small group of students from my homeschooling learning centre at the Crystal Towers Hotel. From the get go when we made our initial enquiries in March this year, right up to the clean-up and goodbyes, the staff of this hotel outdid themselves in terms of assistance, friendliness and all round fantastic service. Special mention must be made of Monique Pretorius who did all the preparatory and organisational work, as well as Bongani who took charge in looking after us for the evening with his amazing team of waiters and chefs. Other staff who assisted us in a friendly and professional manner, were the reception staff, the security staff and the parking attendants. We were so blessed!! A huge thank you to everyone involved!! You guys are amazing!!!
I have rented a storage unit for just under a year. Access and security cannot be faulted. Friendly staff are amazing ... from the guys at security to the office staff. When my financial situation went south for reasons beyond my control, the billing and accounts staff were amazing!! Thank you to Nikki and Warren for your help, understanding and huge encouragement. I have to let the storage unit go for now, but if ever I have the need and financial resources to use a storage facility again, I will use one company only: Stor-Age!!
