Africa 118 Main - *****ulent company claiming one's Google Listing
This company *****ulently makes claim of one's Google listing on Google. Huge issue to try to reclaim one's Google listing from it. Appears to be based in Kenya. Doing this to South African companies. Check that they have not done this to your Google Listing!

The Colosseum Hotel - a real treat!
Spent the night there while attending the FEDHASA Gala Awards (which was also great). Coming from hospitality industry - I am critical, but this hotel is really up there. Classy but not intimidating, spotlessly clean, and the suite I spent the night in was pure luxury - didn't want to leave. One can see the ocean and magnificent CT mountains from the suite too. The Colosseum Hotel is also located in a really secure and clean 'suburb' -called Century City. Great Mall there too for shopping. Will definitely return! Staff ultra friendly and welcoming!

Colosseum Hotel - a real treat!

Turkish Airlines - great service when we needed it the most.
We recently returned from Bordeaux. Our flight back to South Africa was via Turkish airlines. One of my friends in our group of 6, unfortunately broke her leg just below her knee, (needing an operation and pin) - just before we were due to return. Her leg had to be kept elevated and kept straight at a right angle. She had an economy ticket and needed to be upgraded to business class in order to keep her leg straight and elevated. To cut a long story short - we were personally assisted by the South African Turkish Airlines Sales Manager (Trevor Brown). He bent over backwards getting her and her husband (who needed to assist her) business class tickets, even though there were none to be had at the time. I can only say good things about the way Turkish Airlines handled the matter and personally about how much trouble Trevor Brown went to make this happen. We are all exceptionally grateful! Thank you Turkish Airlines for your prompt, professional help and kindness shown - going beyond what you needed to do to.

Only interested in every cent of their profits
Very poor response to customers - even when something is their mistake, they do not try to rectify it or apologise or make up for their mistake. Very uncustomer focused and only keen to make every cent and profit they can.

The Palace - really worth a visit
Still an iconic South African attraction. The Palace is looking really good, well-maintained and the buffet breakfasts are spectacular. Worth it!

A warm welcome in a stunning restaurant
Organised a celebration for my son's birthday. Staff very friendly. When I was not happy with the table originally given to me, they very speedily organised another one that worked better for us. The Waiter was also interactive and good at what he did. The management were very friendly too. It is a very classy, upmarket venue, but the staff make one feel very relaxed and welcome to be there.

President Hotel - enjoyed out stay
Teated ourselves to this lovely hotel - it did not disappoint. Very friendly service and stunning position! Definitely worth staying at again the next time we visit CT.

Always happy to visit Stonehaven on Vaal
Visited before - but each visit see something else and enjoy it even more. The setting right on the Vaal River is lovely and fun sitting on the river banks and seeing all the boats going up and down and everyone having a happy time.
