Do not be convinced by any of their promises and excuses. These people will have excuses and problems from day 1. They did not even let is at least start good before they started *****ing. They stole from moth one. Once you've signed a contract that will be the last time they pick up a phone call. My tenant pay in advance.... we've received one payment a month late.... that's it.... Don't be fooled.
Ordered sparkling water a month ago. Every time I call they tell me that they are escalating the issue but it has been escalated 11 times now with zero progress. Same mantra everytime I call. Started taking done names now in a hope that someone will take responsibility. Not Vuo, not Phato or one of the 9 other people I spoke to makes any effort. A month now. My money is in their bank and they can sell the product to other customers. This is the second time Makro is *****ing from me. Will pay a little more next time with a different service provider, but will at least get the product.
This company does not really exists other than to take your money. They do not have any products and is a SCAM. Once you have paid you will not hear from them again. They will send you Phishing mails to get your details probably in an attempt to hack your profile, but other than that you will not receive anything from them. If it is to good to be true it usually is.... Do not fall for this.
I have ordered from Makro online 18th of October. They confirmed the order on the 20th of October and did a partial delivery soon after. I informed them that I only received half the order and they acknowledged that the rest will follow soon. I have phoned them probably 7 times now and every time the person say that they can see its been dragging on for a long time and they will escalate it on their system. Its now been a month and they are still escalating with no result. I am not sure whether they will complete this order before December and the money that I paid has been cleared a month ago....... My hands are tied, as I know the next time I phone, the reply will be that it has been escalated and that someone will call me..... But someone never does call and the order will again be escalated....
No where in their terms and conditions do they give you an indication of how long their product will take to get to you. As a regular online consumer I am use to 3-4 days and if there is a problem maybe 7-9 days. "Reliable Store" take a month and a half!!!! Well hopefully I should say as I have not received anything yet. Whatever you order from them I suggest that you try all other avenues first. And you pay for this delivery it is not ever free like all other online stores offer. Don't waste your time... you will be disappointed.
You know a company is in trouble when you phone them and wait on the line for 64 minutes.... We were issued vouchers because of Covid cancelations. We were told that it will be valid for 24 months. I now need to make a booking for October but can for the live of me not get hold of Mango in this regard. The only person I did get through to gave me a number to phone as a Mango guest, but Mango makes their guests wait for 64min. On a mobile phone 64min is as so expensive I could probably have paid the petrol to drive there already.....
I bought a product from Takealot's online platform (order nr 72100417). The product was indicated as in stock and to be delivered after lockdown, which I was happy with. I then proceeded to pay for the product, partly with a voucher and partly through credit card. Takealot have send me a mail on the 29th of May to say that they now do not have the product in stock anymore and that they will give me a credit..... Great business concept.... Advertise the world and when you can not deliver give a credit that can only be spend with you???? Is this even allowed?
We had a bond with Standard Bank since 2010 for vacant land that we bought. The bond was paid of in 2017 plus an additional amount that we paid in by mistake. We wanted to cancel the bond now, so that the amount in credit can be paid back into our account only to find out that Standard Bank activated insurance on the bond(that is in credit) somewhere in 2018. This bond for vacant land, as it was specified on their system, was paid off in 2017 with no insurance but now that we are in credit there is insurance to the amount of R 3 487 and that was activated months later in 2018. On querying Standard Bank, that did not want to give us a loan when we wanted to build the property I must add, their representative said the insurance is because there is now a house on the stand, which they activated the insurance for. We did not ask for this to be done as we have our own insurance through Santam. Also as far as I'm concerned the house can not automatically be regarded as any of their business as their loan agreement clearly states that it is for vacant land. How can Standard Bank be allowed to charge any insurance on a zero bond for a property that they had nothing to do with and that without my permission? If this is not taking advantage, I don't know what is, and that for R 3 487. For an institution or their size that's a tee and cake bill. For a consumer that's a lot of money. Shame on you Standard Bank.
I have an issue with Telkom since 2016 that they still can not resolve. Telkom registered an account for my business and billed me for it, but this never excised. I never received any billing from them, paperwork or email, there are no Telkom infrastructure at all at my business and yet there is apparently an amount outstanding. I have asked them to send me the accompanying paperwork that I would have had to fill in or sign for this account to be possible but they do not have any....... I have even mailed them my VOIP accounts since 2015 so that they can see I would not have had the need for Telkom services as this is a 5 year contract..... The R300 odd that somehow is outstanding has now escalated to R900 odd as there are interest and lawyer costs added to the amount. So even after all my efforts and requests to resolve this they have handed this over to lawyers!!!! How ridiculous is this!!!! I do not even have an account reverence for this Telkom issue, all I have is a reference from the lawyers that handles this for Telkom DC Fourie INC (NT310445). My question is what are my options to resolve this if after all my communications they can still not manage. What are my options if my business gets a bad credit report because of this, as once the damage is done it is done...?

The Telkom shop assistant in our area sold us a 10mbps ADSL line on request. We upgraded to the 10mbps line as the regular 2mbps line was to slow and told the representative that at the time of the transaction. Our line speed stayed inadequate and on every communication with Telkom we were told that they are working on the problem. After two years of paying for the 10mbps line we decided to change to a different ADSL supplier, only to be told by them that our area only supports 2mbps according to info that they got from Telkom. Why do Telkom offer a product that cannot be serviced and then tell the client that they are working on the problem, which they obviously aren’t. They had the information to their disposal at the time of the transaction that their product would not be supported on their network and still opted not to advise but took the hi premium we paid for the unsupported product. Surely we should have been advised of this situation as they have all the info at there disposal. I feel that we should be compensated for the unnecessary hi premium we paid for a service that was not delivered.
