Matrix computers selling sub-standard products to the public that only works a few days and are well aware of it. Bought a 64Gb Pioneer Flash Drive from Matrix but soon thereafter the drive stuck in "write protection" mode and become basically useless. An online search revealed that a lot of people have similar complaints and the manufacturer are well aware of the factory defect while Matrix also seems to be aware of the issue but instead than refund or swap want to send it back so that they can see if they can fix it. As a norm all modern internal hard drives are 7200rpm that require more power, run hotter and are faster than 5400rpm external drives that require less power (USB), are much cooler and also slower. That Matrix sell the cheaper 5400 rpm drives as internal laptop drives are thus open for debate whether they try to misled the public that don't know better or got hold of old stock when 7200rpm internal drives was not yet the norm.
Second time within 2 months that glasses from Torga Optical must be send back because IT'S NOT CORRECT and in fact even cheap R40 PEP Store reading glasses is better than the R1400 or R2310 "professional glasses" grom Torga. Torga Optical now play the blame game, said it's due to the cataract operation and I must wait 6 weeks, but it's a blatant lie because my RIGHT EYE was operated while the worst problem with the glasses is with the LEFT eye that was never operated or had a problem. With the latest glasses I also have to tilt my head backwards and look almost over my nose thru the bottom part of the lense to be able to read PC and it's totally wrong for MULTIFOCAL lenses. In fact I read better without any glasses than with it and many people said the same as below) After a quick survey on Facebook, at least 5 people commented that they had the same type of problem with glasses from Torga Optical so it's almost clear that Torga Optical's Lab provide very sub-standard and incorrect glasses.
On 16 October I went to Print & Signs in Randfontein to print a single black and white Word document page but was amazed to get three pages back mostly full of strange characters and had to pay R9 for that. When enquiring about that the staff said that is how the document is on the memory stick so there was nothing I could do and walked out where I nevertheless took a picture of the company's storefront just in case. The owner, at that stage unknown to me, approached me but instead than engaging in a shouting match I just said the business provide bad service and climbed in my. At that stage the owner become upset and grab the door to prevent me from closing it and only after several requests to let go of the door slammed the door close. I then post about the same as above on the Facebook group "I lived in Randfontein and Survived" where some other people also confirm bad service from Print & Signs in the past. One Grant Bell claimed to be the owner of Print & Signs and reject my version, instead saying that I was upset and he have video footage to proof it, after which I dared him to post that video footage so that everybody can see what is the truth. Shortly after that the post was deleted from the group and after come checking, it appears that the same Grant Bell is admin of the group and instead than to man up, find it easier to intimidate elderly people, lie in public about it, prefer not to post his "proof" and then delete any and all complaints about him or his business from the group. The owner is still welcome to post the video footage "as proof" but so far as I am concerned above facts are true and correct and there is no reason for me whatsoever to lie while bullies will always lied about their actions
Non-existing customer and support service so far at payfast. It's now day 2 without peep from Payfast, DoSlow so far after they blocked me from paying online due to equally poor networks that require cellphone authentication response within a minute but can't even send it within a minute.
If a parcel collected in Cape Town for delivery in Cape Town is misdirected and send to Johannesburg depot it's not just stupid it's almost sabotaging their own AND client's business. Another package was collected on 2 June in Cape Town but their tracking system lied and said it was collected on 4 June and underway to Johannesburg for delivery in Johannesburg, but 3 days later the tracking said the parcel was "misdirected" and now on it's way to PRETORIA and nobody ever answer any emails.
Companies follow a no-work, no-pay rule but yet they provide no or **** service and still take your money. It's now weeks that the Vodacom signal is as **** as hell and their CEO's Customer Care division don't do much better as I still wait for them to look into the issue.
Telkom said up to 72 hours to resolve an issue but week later nothing and their website timed out with 504 Gateway timed out error and asking someone to phone dont help if they never picked up the phone
After 2 decades in the online and affiliate industry affiliate.co.za is the worst that I ever encountered. I seldom give bad reviews (In fact any) but this bunch are too eager to give people a middlefinger and deserve nothing less back in turn. There are plenty of other GOOD competitors around not to waste your time with them.
Still waiting for helcom staff to fix their problems (and staff that can't say anything other than "we investigating") and get the line up and running, IT'S PAID FOR just in case you forgot about that.
