I received the Ladies Bushcat that I ordered. Although it is the most beautiful shoes I’ve ever seen and I would simply love to have them, it is also the most uncomfortable. It feels as hard and inflexible as very cheap high heel shoes – won’t even consider walking in them for 5 minutes because you would end up with blisters. To return the item, you need to click on some link and fill out your info. However, this doesn't work. You then send an e-mail to request assistance but no one answers your e-mail. This is really problematic!
Another woman and I was ordering pizzas at Panarottis Express, Bayswater, yesterday. While waiting, we saw how one employee squeezed sauce into a bucket with chicken. She then stirred the chicken and sauce with her bare hands and then threw the chicken pieces with her bare hands onto the pizza base. We asked to speak to the manager. The manager told us that she can't see a problem with it because the employee sterilized her hands and this is how they have always been making the pizzas. Needless to say, we asked our money back and Panarottis will never see us again.
I bought the Genesis Cyclovac Multi Cyclone vacuum machine about 3 weeks ago. The salesman sang the product's praises and especially emphasized the good warranty. When I used it the 4th time, black smoke and a lot of dust came out of the machine and there was a strong smell of burning rubber. I took it back Friday 29 September and spoke to Enslin of Verymark/Makro. Enslin told me that they will send it to their service centre immediately and that I will probably have an machine by the end of the day. He also gave me his personal number and I was quite impressed by the service. I have heard nothing by by 16h30 and sent Enslin a Whatsapp expaining that my son has Autism and severe OCD and he simply can't do anything because his room's carpet is covered in dust due to their faulty machine. I urgently need a new machine. He rep**** that he will give me feedback early Saturday morning. It's Monday today and I still haven't heard anything from Enslin and he also doesn't answer Whatsapps or calls. The lady at Makro also simply said that I have to wait for the service centre. I told her that was not my arrangement with Enslin and that I need to speak to the manager then. She promised to call me back with a number - which also didn't happen. These people simply make promises they don't intend to keep.
I ordered weeks ago. When you send an e-mail to enquire, you get an auto-response telling you that they are based in Cape Town, the taxi strike has affected the transit and they will dispatch early next week. When you send an e-mail the next week, you get exactly the same auto response. This business seems to be a ****. Beware!
Hyundai is a wonderful company as long as you don't need any parts. I had an accident in April and they needed to order parts. The parts were ordered from Hyundai on 22 May 2023. However, the parts were not available in SA and the panel beaters only received it on 18 July 2023. From that date, it's going to take another 5 weeks for the repairs to be done. So, thanks to Hyundai not stocking parts in SA, I will be without my car for more than 4 months! As soon as the repairs are done, I will definitely sell the car and buy something else.
I bought a Hyundai Venue from Nolly for R300 000. The manager there promised me the car had never been in an accident and that the motor plan and guarantee were in place. They delivered the car to Bloemfontein. The next day there was a huge puddle of oil under the car. Nolly said I should not worry because it's probably just the oil filter and Hyundai will sort it out with the next service. I took the car to a mechanic here in Bloemfontein and he confirmed that the car was in a huge accident. The engine had severe damage and the pannel beating was done poorly. Some backyard mechanics worked on the car and Hyundai would definitely not honour the motor plan or the guarantee. We took the car back to Nolly with the registration document and the keys. He said he would pay my money back. For the next few days, they didn't answer their phone. He then said he will not pay back because his mechanic worked on the car now and it must have been me who damaged the car. I had to pay Nolly R35 000 to get the car back because he said that is what he had to pay his mechanic. I took the car to Hyundai and they confirmed what the mechanic in Bloemfontein said. I had to pay Hyundai R180 000 to fix the mess and reinstate the guarantee. Nolly Motors is the biggest **** and dishonest business in Johannesburg.
I ordered goods of R5000 early April and still did not receive anything. You also cannot contact them. This business is a huge ****! Beware!!
<p>I arranged for a service of my home aircons. But this was the worst service I ever received. They came hours after the arranged time, said there were repairs to be done but it was too late - they will send a quote for the repairs and come back. I heard nothing from them. I sent several mails - no reply. I then called on a daily basis - but received only promises and nothing else. At last I got someone else for the repair work and he couldn't believe that the aircons was serviced three weeks ago because there were so many things not right. Don't be deceived by their fancy website! </p>
