I am not stupid or ********. I have rights under the constitution and the Health Act. Stop censoring my results. I pay for all my tests. Give me full access to everything.
I have my name and number on a block list. They did not care. They did not ask my permission to call, in contravention of POPIA. They do not care. I am dying of cancer. They do not care.
Despite management changes, nothing has fundamentally changed. This a death trap only fit for people without any intellectual capacity, insight or will to live. No library, narrow stinking passages, dilapidated shared ablutions, tiny rooms, frail care has a 5-by-5m room for 3 men without any privacy or space for personal possessions, and no support groups for the grieving and disabled. If you do not fit into being sheople and living according to their prejudices, you are lost. No effort will be made to help the slightly different.
I had an appointment to get my smart ID in January. They were offline and had been the previous day too. I was told to come back on Monday, no appointment needed. I was too ill and one week later I was diagnosed with the worst possible cancer. I went back and explained my situation. They were more than considerate and caring, doing everything they could to help me. Absolutely wonderful people. And I will keep going back until I get my ID. Why? I have about a year to live but hope to vote 2026/27. But they were let down by their IT.
I was diagnosed with the worst possible cancer 2 weeks ago. I had major surgery and was discharged on Thursday evening. I now need chemo. I went to the Discovery website to find out what to do. As requested, I got my lab results and sent them via e-mail to Discovery with my diagnosis and stage on Saturday morning. My request was approved by that evening! On a week-end. No wonder Discovery is rated top in South Africa.
My number is listed in WASPA as "do not call". They called. they did not ask permission, in contravention of POPIA. They tried BS sales in which I had no interest. They have now ensured that I will never use them.
Kudough is a **** to separate naive people from their money. Beware. TrueCaller blocked their SMSs and flagged them as a ****. I blocked their calls and so they deleted my entire profile🤪
The last time "Value" Logistics rep**** on HelloPeter was 2015. They truly do not care. I have yet to see any relevant review that does not rate them poorly. Why any reputable business uses them, goodness knows. Smacks of something fishy. Their website does not have any e-mail contact info. And my browser/anti-virus flagged them for having an e-mail **** item. Beware.
Makro handed an important delivery of mine to a "courier" company with 21 1-star ratings and nothing better. They do not answer calls. Their site said they phone to arrange deliveries. Nothing. Makro's site told me to expect delivery by the 7th. Nothing. I phoned to complain and was told it was out on delivery. BS. I phoned on Tuesday and was given the same answer. I was now angry and demanded that the issue be escalated and wrote an e-mail to Makro expressing my views. No response. I phoned on Thursday and asked what was going on. No response except "will escalate". I demanded to be kept informed. Nothing. The Makro site still has "Delivery by 7th" 7 days later! I have given up and ordered the entire order on Thursday. This will be delivered today - while still waiting for the alleged "courier" they appointed to deliver. I now want a full refund plus compensation for the incompetence of all concerned.
