I have made numerous complaints about this company. Yet they still continue to harass me with spam calls. Last was May 2025, and now again in August 2025
Generally not a good experience. - They let personal trainers do whatever they want. There is a specific trainer who places his gym bag by a chest press machine, meaning people cant use it. The same trainer will occupy 3 benches, multiple weights and free-weight machines to train 1 person. - Their rules state no gym bags and no filming but they let many people do this. - Cardio machines are in poor condition. - They allow members who are "Buddy Buddy" with staff to do whatever they want for example not replacing dumbbells and plates after use. - Members are very rude and will not ask if they can use something they will just hijack your weights or machines. - If your debit order falls on a weekend it does not go through and they block you from entering, as if it is your problem.
I have not had a policy with this company for years, and have requested more than 10 times now for my details to be removed from their database. This is a violation of my rights as per the POPI Act. They are constantly calling and when I ask for my details to be deleted they cut the call.
No support. Cancelled my router on the 6th of Feb, gave all the details for picking up the router, according to them they will attempt to collect in 7 business days. They have not collected the router and charged me for the following month. I have contacted them about 5 times since the 6th of Feb with no help whatsoever.
Re: Trengrove, Kenilworth Managing Assigned Agent, Leigh-Anne is never available and her assistant always takes your message and never gets back to you. In terms if management there isn't any to speak of, they don't communicate when they need acces to a unit, when you do have an issue, it's your problem that you have to sort out eventhough said issue affects the entire property not just singular units
I have been struggling to get a hold of ANYONE at DFC Business Insure. I have been trying to make contact to refer colleagues to them, but clearly they are not interested in new business. But clearly in the event that I needed to claim they would be no help either.
1. The Airline cancelled my flight and told me to contact my agent, Travelstart, I've sent numerous emails, online queries and even tried their robot on WhatsApp, to no help. I called them from the UK, using my airtime, was on hold for nearly 6 minutes before this guy who sounded like he had just woken up tried to help, after telling him that above and asking him whether I will receive a refund or if Travelstart will pay for my flight, his answer was that il get an email, if Travelstart was sending emails I wouldn't have bothered calling! So now I wait again and I have 5 days to book a flight. 2. Because of the flight being cancelled, I decided to book another flight, because its so close it cost me an arm and a leg, something went wrong on their website but they took my money, more than 24 hours later I haven't received any feedback whether my flight has been booked or something went wrong. When I called and told this story as well, I was told to send the proof of payment to payments@travelstart.com, and I'm sure that I will not receive my money back anytime soon. So I'm now in a foreign country, Travelstart have cost me at least R50 000 and they couldn't give less of a ****, AND this isn't the first time I've had problems with them, I've been travelling for close to eight years and nearly everytime I have to make international trips it is a headache. Travelstart if you can't handle international trips stick to South Africa. Don't fly so close to the Sun. DO. NOT. USE. TRAVELSTART.
Applied for a business account online at the end of Feb 2021,after not receiving any feedback after a week I then had to go to THREE different branches just to be told that there is only one consultant in the entire district that handles new businesses, I was then told to leave my number and the consultant will call me back , FOUR MONTHS LATER, still no phone call. Only TWO WEEKS after my online application did I receive a phone call to officially open the account. The consultant told me that I can go straight to the branch for a card as it is not a personalized card. I went to the branch they said they did not have a card and I was then told to wait for an SMS. That was in March. It is now June. Not having my business card has made procuring supplies for my business extremely difficult. Secunda Branch Manager is extremely rude.
Residents of the Govan Mbeki Municipality have no water! Residents pay their monthly bill and water has been turned off completely due to the incompetence and corruption of local politicians, so Rand Water decided to punish the people. In the midst of a pandemic and Loadshedding now we dont have water, how am I supposed to practice safe hygiene with no water? This is a violation of Human Rights.
Cancelled a policy years ago, and I've been receiving phone calls non-stop, I've already told them I am not interested in any products and they still phone me, the people that phone are extremely rude.
