I chose to order a Kindle from the Makro online shop as I can use my UCount rewards to shop at Makro. The order process was quick and painless. A few days after ordering I decided to have a look at Makro's online shopping reviews and I got very worried as it is really bad. BUT from the time they started packing my order till the time I received it I received regular updates and my parcel was delivered exactly 7 days from date of purchase. I am very impressed and hope we can rebuild a good name for them.
I have only had great service from Takealot. Delivery, collections, returns, swop-outs, refunds - all really top notch, without fuss and really fast! Well done Takealot - you guys are awesome.
2 years ago a mysterious debit order went off one of my non-transactional business bank accounts at Standard Bank. This was illegally and fraudulently done by African Bank. It took weeks to get them to stop it and finally refund the charges. 2 months ago the same thing started happening - fraudulent transactions off the same account as before and AGAIN done by African Bank. While they promised to stop this and remove my info from their systems, they went ahead and debited me 14 days after the previous debit. They refuse to divulge the info of the account holder that the debits are going to. This has made me realize that the charges I want to lay should be against the Bank and not the individual. I am appalled by this crowd.
I bought the 600mm free standing stove with gas hob and electric oven from Hirsch's in July 2020. I picked up a problem with the grid on the hob where it seems to be uneven, so all my pots and pans would wobble. Although this was a tricky problem to accurately identify, the service from Elba was great. It took 4 site visits to my house, but they persevered and sorted out my problem. I can definitely recommend Elba!

Billing is atrocious, admin is appalling, new services impossible to obtain, responses to requests are ignored, Channel Managers come and go all the time, the buck is passed from one division to another to another to another...........all of this ultimately resulting in ZERO SERVICE TO CLIENTS!</p> <p> </p>
