They sold my phone and have not paid me for close to six months now. Unable to reach them via email, phone or whatsapp. This is a *****ulent company. All positive reviews on hellopeter are **** and posted by recently created accounts. I am looking for a way to reach other people who have also been ****med by this company -if we come together we can bring them down with the help of the appropriate authorities
They are a bit dishonest. They claim to have made a delivery attempt with no success for a package of mine on a day that i was there the whole day. Also received no call for said attempt. This has happened to me a couple of times before so it seems to me like a way of deferring deliveries with no consequence on their part. I made plans to be home to ensure i am there to receive my package but then you don't show up and make up **** excuses. Thats not fair
I handed my phone over to phonetradr for them to list on their platform for sale in April. About two weeks ago I received an offer for the phone which was lower than I had listed the phone for but accepted. There has been no communication from phonetradr since then. The listing is now greyed out when I try check it. Not sure what that means. Phonetradr is not reachable via the phone number or WhatsApp number listed on their website. They also do not respond to emails. Starting to feel that I may have been ****med. Businesses like this should not be allowed to operate in this country. Will go to the authorities if there is no resolution by the end of the week. Would not recommend for sellers or buyers

Called the customer care line to make a simple change to my policy and was holding for more than 30 minutes without speaking to an agent. This is totally unacceptable!!! Seems like you have a capacity problem in your call centre. Why not add more agents? And how is it than in 2025 you have no app or website functionality for clients to make changes to their policy by themselves?? Fix this please
I renewed my Fibre contract with Vodacom at the end of October 2024. As part of that renewal process, I also moved to a package with faster line speeds. During the renewal process I was told that it would take a couple of days for the switch to the faster line speed to be implemented. After close to two weeks and no progress in this regard I called their customer care line on the 11th of November and was advised that a ticket would be opened for their technical team to investigate and resolve. Since then I received no feedback. I called again today to find out if there has been any progress and was told that there had been no progress and that the ticket would have to be escalated. how can it take more than a month to do a simple line speed upgrade? And to top it all off, they overcharged me for the month of December so had to log another ticket for them to look into that. This is not the type of experience I expect from a company such as Vodacom and I am close to moving to another provider because of these endless issues
I received notification that my parcel was to be delivered before 5pm yesterday. It did not arrive. No update from Ram themselves and now when I track it online it says returned to dispatch hub. No explanation. I try to call the customer care centre to find out why and was on hold for more than 15 mins without getting through to an agent. Try o. Their WhatsApp and they can't connect me to an agent. How ridiculous is that. This is also the second time in the space of a month that a package did not arrive as scheduled and when I followed up the last time they said it was because I was unavailable when they attempted delivery which is a lie as I can prove that nobody from Ram tried to deliver on that day(phone records, camera footage) Anyways these guys are unreliable and dishonest. At this point I avoid certain retailers who use Ram as their delivery partner because they are so bad.
My fibre line has been down and after contacting my ISP was told that this was not an outage or maintenance but an issue specific to my line. A ticket was logged(ticket number 00282455). Followed up with vumatel today and was advised that the outage was due to scheduled maintenance and that I should check their network status page for updates on my issue. This directly contradicts what I was previously told by my ISP. And my area is not even listed on their network status page as being under maintenance. So this means my issue has not been attended to this whole time waiting on maintenance that does not exist. This level of incompetence does not inspire confidence. And I will be charged in full at the end of the month while you guys just mess me around with baseless excuses. Do your jobs please!!!
My fibre line went down this morning. As a person who works from home this is a huge inconvenience as i need a stable internet connection to do my job. I called the support line and after some troubleshooting was told that the only thing they could do was log a ticket for someone to investigate. Asked how long it would take to resolve the issue and was told that it would take 24-72 hours for someone to be assigned to my ticket. Time to resolve the issue depends on what the issue is when someone looks at it. So I am looking at a minimum of 2 days without internet, possibly much longer based longer based on previous experience. I specifically told the lady that i need to get the issue sorted sooner as i need the internet for work and she point blank just said there is nothing that can be done. Really?? is there no way to escalate time sensitive cases within your organisation? can a temporary 5G or 4G router not be provided in the meantime?? If your turnaround times are so long you should provide customers of alternative internet sources so that we are not inconvenienced. Also, these outages are becoming more and more common. Just look at my previous complaints and its not all the time that i come to hellopeter when your service is down but i have just had enough with Vodacom. Fix my issue asap or i will cancel and go with a more reliable service.
Due to poor service delivery (multiple dropped calls, slow internet speeds) I decided to cancel my Cell C contract early. I was advised that there was an amount that needs to be paid in order for the contract to be cancelled. I paid this amount on the 8th of November. More than a week later Cell C is claiming that they have not received the funds. I have provided them with proof of payment and the payment has still not been allocated to my account. As a result I am unable to proceed with the cancellation of my contract. I am starting to suspect that they are deliberately delaying the allocation of my payment so that I can not cancel my contract. This is shameful and *********. Resolve this ASAP!!!
